  1. One thing I noticed is how humanity seems to be losing the war against the Bugs on Kwalasha, despite you the player only ever winning your missions. But then I realised the gameplay itself is probably part of propaganda video broadcasts, so of course the Federation is only going to show footage of the battles that they won as propaganda.

  2. Close but no cigar at the end, aaah, no matter, sometimes achievements really get in the way.
    Iirc, movie 2 was going for serious, almost horror-esque theme(with controller bugs, using that 1 guy as a hero for propaganda and so), movie 3 was sort-of return to form(the marauder suit-up scene). Live-action aside, animated stuff stood on its own(the 1988 OVA, the roughnecks, the 2 japanese movies(invasion and traitor of mars), they take and give stuff to each other. I forgot when it happens, rico gets demoted (either movie 3 or traitor of mars), tho he quickly regains generalty, so this game could be happening around those, a nice nod. Invasion has the marauders near the end too. Speaking of, they have some swagger in their movements here๐Ÿ˜€ There's one goof, psi officer says colonel while titles say captain instead.

  3. The big boys are here,time for roasted bug beef!
    Marauders seem really powerful,this one is really strong when it comes to mowing down big hordes of warriors,tigers and maybe even bombardiers,only problem is the skorpions and plasma grenadiers they can give quite a scar to their armor,that level 2 hive i think was possible to clear if when you rescued the combat enginers you were going back across the bridge that you crossed and then turned right and i think there is a small entrance that you can go through to the hive,i don't know if the timer will start then but its worth trying.I think yoh can use the hive emptying by coming closer to the main hive at your advantage,say that the main hive is in the center of all tunnels,you can then obliterate all bugs without the need to split you forces on all fronts,might be risky but if you are careful you will be fine.This was a great map showing how the powers of Kwalasha are shifting,i wonder if we will go to other planets not just Kwalasha,but as presenter said at the start of the campaign"all eyes are on Kwalasha".Time to give bugs a hell of a battle!
