Starfield's LOST landmark… The Face on Mars!

You may not have realised that Starfield has a hidden Snow Globe/Landmark. Unlike the other landmarks in-game, there is no quest leading to the Cydonia Snow Globe but I’m here today to show you where and how to find it!

Of all the Snow Globes and hidden landmarks in Starfield, one remained elusive longer than any other. The Cydonia Snow Globe, which was know to exist in the game files, seemed to not actually be findable in game. Well that all changed thanks to YouTuber Camel works, who finally managed to find the snow globe.

Many of you may be familiar with the face of mars, there’s even a statue of it in Cydonia in-game. Well you may not have realised that Cydonia is actually situated at the base of the mountain that makes up the face. It’s near impossible to see from the ground but taking the camera out of bounds reveals the face.

The Cydonia Snow Globe is for the Face of Mars, and as such can be found on the mountain. However, unlike the other snow globes in game, there is no quest marker to lead you to this one. Instead, you’ll want to roughly head to this area, that makes up the right eye of the face. The easiest way to find the snow globe is to use your scanner and keep an eye out for a tiny speck of blue in the martian soil.

With a bit of patience you should have no trouble finding it. If you’re looking to collect all the snow globes in game, this is definitely one you won’t want to miss and it looks great alongside the rest of the collection.
