Starfield continues, as we attempt to rescue Barrett, and are immediately distracted by outpost-building, and an exciting opportunity to become a space postman…

Actually John I think Andreja was insinuating that maybe the UC should have just executed the prisoners instead of incarcerating them…
i was disappointed that when i gave heller his cutter back he made no mention of thanks whatsoever 🙁
In my entire 150+ hour playthrough never did I ever encounter a single instance where I needed to build an outpost. Not to dump crew, not to store things, not to get resources, nothing. In fact the only time I ever opened that interface was to place a couple of things in my free house when I first got it and then I never went back. I never had an issue with running out of stuff for research or upgrades. Having a ship kind of eliminates the need for any sort of base, and the game never actually has a mission that requires you to explore building an outpost.
incredible, ive been playing for 200+ hours and never seen that sysdef assault gear, outside of the special set they give you in the vanguard questline
Was anyone else traumatized that Jon didn't go race over to that landed ship and hijack it?
Bessel 3b not worth mining? Pfft, Jon you massive noob. :p
I will repeat what I commented some videos ago, be careful when switching ships to one that has less crew slots than the assigned crew, as the extra might disappear and, as far as I could find, are impossible to recover.
If you do a long press of A button on a solar panel a wire option appears and you can wire it straight to your extractors.
Thrusters help you to rotate your ship faster to keep enemies in your line of sight a lot easier.
There needs to be an episode called Piazzi Pie at some point.
from some other vids i've seen, the outpost system is a bit lacking

Use the Thrusters button to turn hard, do drifting and switch boosting in one direction to a 180 turn. Great for dogfighting.

Sarah's leadership skill makes her "free" as a crewmember. She adds her own slot.
When you talk to Sam and agree to do his quest he will board your ship and hang out until you grav jump to the planet. He won't count against your crew in this manner, and also brings his book obsessed daughter with him
Can anyone explain why I can’t build any outposts anymore? I land on none hostile environment planets and still I am unable to build an outpost! Not sure what I am doing wrong. Not sure if it’s a research issue that isn’t unlocked or is it I’m not carrying the proper materials to build the first piece this “outpost beacon” itself?
Ship thrusters are useful in combat for banking turns sharply and letting you spin around quickly to get your reticle back on the enemy.
It said 3/4 on the ship crew screen because your current active companion doesn't take up a spot while they're with you. This is a little confusing to figure out when Sam Coe is on your ship though, because he and his daughter count as 2 separate crew members
I love that you got Radstag'd by Andreja haha. Good times.
I know Bethesda games are your thing but man does this game have the personality of a rock.
1:04 "apology cocktail" sounds so wrong, somehow.
🎶 There he goes, there goes space postman, he’s a demon on jets
