how do u unlock simple fabricator because I can't find it in my building menu.
What about the watchtower..? is it useful
OMG 😂 welcome to meth heads play Starfield!!!!
Building needs a "snap to grid" function if possible
I don't know what kind of rig you're playing on, but it seems like the 'PC master race' is always the 1st to yell bug when they're trying to run the game on minimum requirements…
You can put stuff directly into your ship if you are within 250m of the ship.
So whats the idea of giant outpost building like this? I understand the need for connecting outposts for resources for building a single/myltiple big home base(s) but where do the excess resources go when those bases are built? Can it be linked to a vendor for enedless profit? No one made a video explaining this.
Lmao covers the flycam at start then struggles on foot building for the whole video 😂
I kinda already understood all this and was watching your vid to see if I missed something. One thing I noticed from your video (which was great btw) was that as you're explaining stuff it's hard for the newbie to know what you are talking about bc it's all kind of overwhelming. This could be fixed by an arrow or highlight of the item as you are mentioning it (the resources to build something for example). Otherwise again, great vid!
Also Umm the word "stuff" is said many, many, many….. many times
I can't do first grade math…
Heres a tutorial on how i call the game trash. Smh
Quick tip. Dont build where lots of recourses intersect, build where different biomes intersect. Eg. mountaint and craters. Build in the middle of the two
You mention daisy chaining shipping routes. I’ve been trying to figure this out and haven’t had any luck. Could you elaborate on it please?
My man straight up sawed off the nose of a Rambler which is a basic scout ship and welded it onto the friggin EverGreen freighter! 130K storage units… sheesh! I was so proud to get to 8K storage units.
can you do a build tutorial on that ship please
The reason why some areas are restricted is because of R and g period they plan to open this app the multiplayer in the future, and those are probably gonna be caves or random. Generate outpost or pirate landing pads
How do you move your camera around when you're building your outpost? When I'm trying to build in either first person view or the flying view, I'm unable to move around but instead I'm pinned to the area where I was standing when I hit "R" to start placing my outpost and can't figure out how I can move my camera the way people doing it in these Outpost building guides.
“Ultimate Guide” doesn’t even use the other view so we can see better. (“Literally what the other view is for”)
Definitely need chapters for videos this long.
As a lot of people have already mentioned, you built on one of the worst spots and then call “bugs” when really, you’re intersecting with the terrain. You can’t just build into a valley. The video is informative but my man, maybe you also need to watch a tutorial on how to build lol
I love when a new game comes out and people rush to make guides for it and you can clearly tell because the video is mostly unedited, they're mad because they also don't understand the systems yet, don't actually know anything different than anyone else beyond explaining what the popup tutorials do, are learning while they try and teach what they thought they knew but see that something different might happen, etc, etc. Very funny, lol.
Excellent tutorial. As far as game difficulty is concerned, it's just such a sorry excuse of a game design Bethesda didn't put a cap on extractor stacking on a ressource area. Extractor already have a defined gathering area, ressources zones have too. Why does the system doesn't disallow adding an extractor to an already exploited zone is beyond me. It's really taking away from a good crafting system and inevitably leads to exploit.
TO PROPERLY ALIGN OUTPOST ITEMS, Go to your Game Settings and lower the @#$%@ of your Rotation Speed In Outposts Setting. You're welcome 🙂
I haven’t seen anyone mention this in the comments but all the resources you’re buying in New Atlantis can be found and harvested on various planets – I personally hate buying stuff I can just go pick up – I go to Arcturus for polymer and adhesive from the tropical planet there, Gagarin for adhesive and sealant and several other items – Pluto for titanium, mercury for aluminum (I think), and Vega has a lot of good planets for titanium/aluminum/iron and lots of other stuff.
The restrictions you're apparently having trouble comprehending are due to terrain.
You can see what materials that outpost is going to have before you even out the outpost tower down
NGL the fact it's almost impossible to place stuff straight almost made me refund the game 😅
I'm guessing there's no way to get the vertical view while placing the beacon?
How do u get that uc cargo ship
this doesnt work as described
having a hard time linking up a bunch of storage together to mass unload stuff from my character and ship. seems to work fine when linking up storage for extractors and transferring iron from another outpost to containers linked together. I don't want to unload crap into each container from my character when each one only holds 150 and I have got thousands in resources.
I had to reload my game cause the helium-3 was coming up as aluminum. It reverted back thankfully cause I can't afford to take my outpost down
This is the best ad to skip base building I have seen yet
can you delete outposts?
Because you cant separate raw materials at the input/delivery stage base building and resource manufacturing seems pretty much useless. Crafting the odd item, sure I get that, but large scale production isnt feasible.
I loved watching you build this. I had many of the same issues. And yes it is almost impossible to line things up The OCD side of me is going crazy. Your comments about this make me laugh out loud. You understand 🙂
You can transfer loot to your ship from the open non dungeon map without going to it, just open main screen select your ship, select cargo and transfer whatever you want to it.
You CAN build the airlock first! When it says that the object intersects with object and player, just hit V to go into the third person view. Then you can place it! You do NOT have to do the airlock last.
Ok as far as shopping list hand written or even typed….my preferred method of approach to the list of needs is as you look at what it takes for resources to place the object that is being built, look on bottom of screen for what button says track…. It puts a blue magnifying glass next to each ingredient and when you see them in the world they are marked with that same magnifying glass in blue so you remember you need it 🙂 4:10
What a muppet, claiming everything that isn't working for specific reasons is a bug. stopped watching, will look for someone who has at least half a clue….
I personally feel like the mining and outpost system is a complete waste. I have multiple ships I can’t transfer weight into, mining is worthless on an outpost because the minerals are not worth selling. Also transferring from ship to outpost is a nightmare. Just doesn’t seem worth making an outpost or mining materials in general
I have seen if you dont download starfield to an ssd drive there is a ton of bugs! Make sure its on ssd!
I don't like those outposts. What's the point of manufacturing those items If I can't automatically sell them? there should be mechanics that will allow ships to come and buy my stuff or my ore etc other than that outposts are useless and to manually take some of the manufactured items to my ship and go to a store where npc has only 5k credits is absolutely stupid idea and waste of time.
Could you explain what skill level you need to build what features? Is outpost 1 needed to place drills?
PLEASE someone explain how the powered generators work
