  1. When Todd Howard says that this game is 25 years in the making, he doesn’t mean that the game was literally made for 25 years. It’s a game they been wanting to make for 25 years. But the game has only been in development for eight years. Maybe a little preproduction before that. That’s it.

  2. I agree with those that are saying that star field does not need multiplayer. Not co-op, no MMO, no Death match, etc. Leave the single player games alone.

  3. In my opinion, not at all the best, but to me I don`t care about co-op, a good RPG shouldn`t need co-op, that`s your story and that`s awesome.

    Now being a space nerd, I`m missing the following features via ship combat, they might be there, but haven`t seen them in any of the trailers or devlogs:
    * No missiles.
    * No torpedos.
    * No auto-turrets.
    * No fighters.
    * No spaceship mining.
    * No salvage, you just get loot from dead ships (which is arcade but fun regardless).
    * No ship class (I wanna be able to build a dreadnought), although I can build something big, it will always count as a regular ship.
    * Fleet and allied ships, I don`t believe we can have companions flying ships alongside us.

    And something that I`m not sure I`ll like, is that all is player dependent, you can`t just have a "pilot", you "must" be the pilot at all times otherwise nothing will happen, and the companions will just be adding buffs to the ship systems like, faster weapon cd, more boosting, more shields, and that`s all they do, bigger the ship is will be just a numbers games, you get more damage, more shields, and more speed/maneuverability, but that`s it.
