My Mantis armor rolled, auto medic, Armor Plated & 02 Filter. Then some random damage resistances.
Well as soon as I completed this and returned to space ship got boarded and I went to prison

Never got the mission to pop up
what if i got some during the mission but not enough cos ive come back here now and all the bodies have despawned
I just found a spacer and saved my game then kept killing him until the secret base bite dropped
So is this right after you leave the first planet? I cleared like 4 bases there and got grendel with fire ammo and a maelstorm with explosive ammo
Just pre ordered the game and started playing
I got
Boosted: 20% oxygen capacity
Fastened: +20% carry capacity
If you don't get quest you can always travel to DEÑEBOLA an do the missions on the city outpost an yes they are high level enemies but if you manage to stealth an kill the NPCs an also includes battle on space after that you should be good 👍🏼👍🏼 an you will have the quest available MANTIS
Fun fact, the Mantis armor is sorta like The Shroud from FA4. Wearing it, sometimes people will recognize you as the legendary vigilante, and you can even respond in character.
IMPORTANT: Makte a quicksafe before taking the armor. If the one you get has shitty perks, reload and it has a new set of perks. Do this until you have an armor you like.

Seems they may have changed how you get the quest initiator… just ran the mission 3 times and the datachip never dropped.
i dont think the mantis ship is the best better thant he starter ship but thats about it

Does the armor scale with your level (at the time of picking it up) ? Like the weapons and armor in Skyrim?
Crap I got an arc gun where the mini gun is. Thank you for everything else.
Does the armor scale to level? If I grab it at level 10, will it be useless in 5 levels when armor has higher defensive stats?
Just a heads up, I’d recommend doing an extra save before opening the crate shown with the mini gun as well. I got an Auto-Rivet in that case.
