Starfield Direct Live Stream

This will be my co-stream of the Starfield Direct live stream that followed the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 live event. The Starfield showcase will be 30 minutes long and should feature new Starfield gameplay and information from Todd Howard and the team at Bethesda.

The Xbox Showcase 2023 was the show before this which means they much have some solid Starfield new gameplay to show us all by itself. I am hoping that the Starfield release date holds and that the Starfield 60fps question is answered in a strong way. A Starfield 30fps announcement would be devastating at this point. We have done a lot of coverage and many Starfield live streams on this channel.

Starfield is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The video game was formally announced during Bethesda’s E3 press conference in 2018.

  1. To anyone saying the game sucks due to nitpicking or a "lack" of features… NPCs, space to atmosphere flight, etc.

Remember that not every game is made for everyone. It's okay to not like a game due to personal preference, but don't pretend you're criticizing fairly. Remember, at the end of the day this is a product selling at 70 dollars, and what you get for that price is more than substantial. It's not the second coming of Christ, and while it does have extra pressure on it due to Xbox's lacking past, that is not a critique of the game. You have to look at it for what it is, and what it looks to be is an amazing space rpg with solid combat and beautiful graphics.

I know that I'll love this game. Not because I know that the story will be amazing or the interactions will be amazing, I can't guarantee that, but I suspect they'll be good. But because I know I'll love to watch the sunset on a planet lightyears away from everyone else, listening to the sounds of wind around me, and that'll be a moment. That's why I feel in love with Bethesda's games, because they let me live in a world. Not saying other games don't do that, but there's this intangible feeling I get with a Bethesda (singleplayer) game. If that does nothing for you that's fine, but you don't need to hate or spam mid when it's just not for you.

  2. Is it just me or are some of the character models based on the employees likenesses? I've already noticed 2 employees that look too close to the NPCs to be coincidence.

  3. The issue with the one more thing at the end of the Xbox showcase is that star field is directly connected in the same video. So no matter what they showed for their one more thing. The last game that we would have seen would be Starfield. Even though the Xbox show is supposed to be separate, Starfield technically was the ender of the Xbox show?

  4. Xbox showcase was the best FOR ME. They had the most games I want to play, Fable, Starfield and Avowed. I'm not too crazy on how Avowed looks but I know gameplay will be solid just like The Outer Worlds was. In Summer Games Fest only Sand Land really grabbed my attention. In the PS showcase nothing really rang out for me. It's funny because I've always leaned towards PS, but this gen Xbox games have spoken to me more.

  5. The only problem with a game like this, if it pans out, is figuring out how to tell my kids why I haven’t spent time with them till after college 😂

I’m joking of course, but this will be a huge time sink when I can just dive in.

  6. Mtyreal concern is, why did they not show anything about land vehicles? if you have the option to explore everything and collect data surely there is something to drive?

  7. I’m such a fan of VATs and I don’t think they have anything like that in this.

That’s my only complaint but it does look absolutely amazing. I may have to buy another console as I only have PS5/4s at home. 🤦‍♂️
