You really need to do the complete quest with Walter Stroud. After you do his job in Neon, it will give you another task. He asks for your expertise on ship building design by talking to his staff. You do a few things, gather some data for the team, and at the end you get rewarded with a free ship. And let me tell you she is a beaut. You will have to have your upgraded pilot license and to make modifications you will want the ship design.

Hi. When you renamed your ship, you left out the "t" from fighter.
A good way to up your piloting skill , is to join the UC Vanguard . In fact joining the UC Vanguard , is easily the biggest sidequest you can do .
