  1. I have 1 character that will never NG+ but I started a 2nd character to go to NG+ 10 with, and was mindful not to collect anything and pretty much keep selling everything as I wouldn't be keeping it, once all 10 levels of powers are collected I will sette in that universe and do every activity, quest, side quest, build ships and outposts and do everything I did with character 1. After that il prob just start character 3 and maybe have that character as a pirate who knows, but I'm still in love with the game and have well over 300 hours in it. No signs of burn out yet lol

  2. I'm on NG+5 right now. I'm not building ships or outposts as that's not fun for me. I'm waiting for presets from the mod community.
As for the gear, It's not worth collecting. Even on very hard. I'm level 67 right now and most of the gear that drops on Very Easy is more than enough to handle any enemy I face on foot. The harder difficulties aren't engaging as the enemies are still dumb as rocks. They just have more health.

  3. Todd leaving is like the founders of BioWare leaving. When the DNA leaves it is usually deeply concerning but we fans become the pillars of the things we love. Perhaps we need to learn to not put so much stock in icons and acknowledge everyone for their talents.

Oh do add a variety of weapons and more energy based ones especially melee ones upon smarter enemies and a ton more variety.

  4. who will take over from Tod Howard? well thats easy to answer 'Tam Howard' Tod Howards younger clone of himself thats also very current day and female! whats more she will have all of his skills and experiance implanted into her and so more inept games built on an engine that is vastly outdated in which she will refuse to phase out and build a better one.

  5. Im 400 hours into my first playthrough and i love the game but i do wish some things were different like 75 being the highest level planet systems and the game being too easy. It needs enemy upscaling badly. Im also so tired of fighting spacers/Ecliptic/Fleet. The glitches are bad,im currently stuck with Alejandra as my companion cause her quest is glitched but luckily i already passed the main story quests where i need a certain companion. I just wish the game had more stuff to do and more higher level things to do. The Red Mile sucks and its not worth doing it 29 times😂. Im a level 71 and will go against level 1 enemies on some missions😂. Thats crazy. The game also needs more stuff for us to spend credits on cause after buying 4-6 ships and the 4 apartments in the game there isnt much to spend on and resources are way too cheap from vendors. I think they should of made outpost building also cost credits and it would of gave us a reason to go and explore abandoned places and fight for stuff to sell and get credits for. More bounty hunter missions and legendary Fauna and a Bestiary would of made exporing even better. I like exploring in this game and think its one of the games strong points. I hate how NG+ deletes all of your surveying and exploration and thats why im not doing a NG+. They played it very safe with Starfield. Yoy can beat the game at level 30 or 40 and they expected gamers to play NG+ over and over?😂😂. Hopefully DLC comes out soon and adds alot more stuff but the game is great so far.

  6. Going through the unity does have some benefits . For one thing every time you go to one of those temples and get a superpower . The next time the power becomes stronger . Not only that but if you have a problem with watching your companions die . You can use dialogue to make sure that everyone lives . It sucks that they give you a ship and a new set of armour but not even one single weapon to use . But you are at a high enough level that you can just go and buy a weapon . Some of the powers you get are whatever/who cares . But some of them are exceedingly useful . Like being able to go invisible , or being able to use anti-gravity on a whole group of enemies . Other ones are really only good for getting your companions to say . How did you do that ? I can't even find them all . There might be some that are downright awesome .

I thought after my 220+ hours and 10 ng+ loops ive seen everything however last night ive found another starblood orbiting a planet after a quick chat he told me he doesnt care about the other starbloods and artifacts turns out hes a vendor selling his items to starbloods only i managed to get a suit helmet and boostpack that got better stats than the venator suit u get after loop 10

  8. The more I play the game, the more I realize I probably won't do NG+. If a substantial amount of the player's progress was being preserved, I would reconsider, but I don't want to discover and explore all planets and moons all over again. It's pleasant to roam and do it once, but just once.

  9. I've played Starfield for 140 hours on a sungle character, level 56 ish, hardly touched the main Constellation quest. I have done UC, Ryujin and Freestar Rangers quest lines and I have no intention of doing NG+.
TBH I dont understand the appeal of NG+, if I want to try different things and approaches I'll roll a new character.

  10. I recommend at least 1 NG+ FULL playthrough (don't skip the main questline), as you will have new dialogue options and quicker ways to complete quests while also changing the outcome of certain events…. all because of your new found knowledge.

  11. Ya know new game + isn't something Bethesda came up with. Its always been like this no matter what game ya play with new game + in order to keep all my original stuff, I just made a separate save file

  12. Honestly, good. Starfield is good, not great. It really should have been a different crew. Having 2, now 3, massive franchises of the same genre use the same crew is poor management at best, narcissistic at worst.

While I love Fallout, 4 included, Obsidian did a great job on New Vegas. So it’s not like Todd Howard and BGS are the only ones that can do great with these franchises.

  13. I'm on my fifth Play through. I love new game plus I do hate the fact that I lose everything but I really enjoy taking a different path asking different questions spending more time with a different character. Seeing what different outcomes can happen because you responded differently. The game seems very repetitively but there are subtle changes that make different discussion dialogues available. Plus you get increased powers new ships better armor I believe you have to complete new game plus 10 × 2 get the best starship and the best starborn armor. I really enjoy completely repeating the game With different choice.. And I'm still waiting to meet Sarah the plant

  14. Wyrdsong is sounding like an L cuz I prefer it to have Multiplayer. Love the theme but I want to play it with friends. I really hope they change their minds at some point in the near future. Can’t wait for the MP Mod for Starfield (Currently 240Hrs in and still enjoying my time in the Stars.)

  15. people should also have an eye if vendors sell notes, i found several full quests like aquire this sniper rifle from outpost, also notes that are found on the floor hiding quest locations inside, some actively start, some have a hidden hint inside where to look.

    after 300h:
    -170 Quests
    -151 Activities
    -4MainQ
    -3CFleet
    -9FC
    -10Ryujin
    -8 UC
    -166 Side Quests
    completed

and this on 51 Planets i landed on

    1600 Planets to go.

  16. Todd Howard will at least stay until TES 6 will be released. I think Pete Hines retirement was already planed by him years ago. Now that Starfield is released, and Bethesda is "safe" under Microsoft's umbrella, I think he has the feeling his work is "done" and he can retire without having bad feelings about it. And I think he's right. Todd's work is not done yet, so I do not see him go very soon.
I am playing Starfield since launch day, and I still have tons of things to do. I will be playing this game for a looong time. And then there is still a DLC that's underway, and a mod kit. I am sure we will still play this game after all the games that are said to be "superior" to Starfield are already faded away out of memory.

  17. New game plus strategy. Play the game almost 400 hours in live and experience the world, build the relationships. Don't focus too much on apartments/houses or bases. Even with so many hours, I just discovered the crucible mission and holy crap, it's awesome. Lol. This way when I hit new game plus I'll be going into it with a built and fleshed out world/background. First, new game plus will be making changes I didn't like in the first play through but having knowledge of the universe beforehand. This play through I will probably take my time somewhat as well. And the rest will be about me. Power, ruthlessnessniff, and hopefully Settle on the 10th one as my final place where I can build out establishments and structures.

  18. pete hines i can see as the person keeping bethesda on track, but todd howard has been a meme since oblivion, and for some weird reason Todd Howard seems like Bethesda's Chris Roberts, someone who is for all purposes the companies face – hopefully at some point bethesda go back to actual rpg mechanics for thier open world games not some rpg lite fps that have been the releases since skyrim.

16:43 random POI's and the likes have had several quests that have led to other things, and people keep complaining about the exploring in this have not played elite dangerous in the slightest, thats boring flat pointless exploration

  19. I'm level 27 I have five ships two of I stole the others I have redesign and I still haven't started the story yet or rather I just got the ship dropped Barrett off and talk to Sarah for the second time I've just been doing activities and side missions just finished becoming a vanguard so exploring is fun or as my wife call sandbox for a while

  20. Xcom had a Character Pool that would allow old characters to appear in new games–I wish that you could make ships for a "pool" that you can see in each NG+
