I played for about 3 hours after lunch and it was so-o-o much fun. 🥰 However, I didn't read the farm info, just picked the new one and went on… so I didn't know the farm came with 2 chickens and when I got to the point I was told to feed them, I thought I had to build the coop. So my poor chicks sat in their coop for 2 days before I suddenly discovered the coop and hit my head against the desk. Okay… run over to the chest, grab that hay, feed the chickens. Poor things. 🤣
I had the same issue with going from playing modded to the new update 😂 I was so confused at first! I got the swing of things again though fast enough and am enjoying the update. Great video!! Your let's plays are always so relaxing.
i was wondering if youd start a new series for 1.6, and im really glad you are!! ive seen bits and pieces from other peoples playthroughs, and im really excited for you to experience all the new content, its gonna be a lot of fun!
So glad to have another series of yours to obsess over! It was painful watching you fish for largemouth bass in the river and even say, "I don't think it's a mountain fish." It's a mountain fish!!! Lol.
Something interesting I found is that the wiki has a bit of misinformation about a specific event that happens at night. It says it's only in summer but I got it mid spring. So if you get it early could be very worthwhile. Love the new updates and features I've come across so far. (I only read up on things I've found organically in my new playthrough.)
I read that ConcernedApe worked with FlashShifter (who created the SDV Expanded mod, among others) on this 1.6 update and the SDV Expanded is fully 1.6 ready.
Came for stardew valley (surprising not a lot of yters I see actually playing it vs just cheating their way thru the game to see all the new stuff!! Yuck!) & stayed for your voice & the vibe! I I'm playing on my own aswell to experience it too. I haven't beaten it in its entirety either even before so I may not even recognize some stuff as new/old content!!! Haha. Glad to have found ya! I know you are futher in the game (I just started viewing ep.1) but you have too many scarecrows. Each cover an 8 by 8 area that means 8 tiles left & right plus up and down. A few tiles around the edges of that circle are not covered.

Also I think its great you take time off and time for family etc. I totally agree with "streaming for so long is unhealthy". I see people doing like 24h streams, or even 48h, 72h and such. Some people are live all the time, even sleep in front of the camera and such. I think its really unhealthy. Especially sitting around for long time periods and staring at screens for long time periods. And even in terms of recording videos, no one should be forced to do it every day every minute of their time, especially when it's just a hobby. It's awful that people expect content creators to present them new content as often and as fast as possible. Content creators are just people too. I've also had it happen with my writing, I was uploading my novel to a site for FREE and people were nagging about how it takes too long until new chapters release, nagging when I set the status to "paused" because "that doesn't look good". People should learn to appreciate when they get content for free. No one is obligated to make any content so when people do, the ones using said content should really be more grateful about it. I still remember times when you couldn't watch whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. People are too spoiled nowadays lol
