  1. Open worlds in games like these just seem unnecessary, and they give you travel options to help connect the gaps from one point to another but why not just remove that gap entirely? At least in games like RDR2 the world was actually alive, and from a gameplay standpoint it helped service the entire hunting and tracking aspect of the game, not to mention random NPC encounters or easter eggs as well.

  2. Wow this games amazing 15 years ago. As for today, I would expect something like this from a low budget indie dev. Then again indie devs are putting AAA studios to shame.

  3. I haven't played this game and honestly I do not feel like playing it but Asmon only played World of Warcraft, Elden Ring and Cyberpunk for 3-4 hours and I constantly see him shit on games he hasn't played a goddamn minute of. If you haven't played the game do not share your opinion bcs you realistically have none, yes IGN is a corporate drone everyone knows that and I'm afraid so is Asmon too a drone that cannot even bother to play the games he criticizes 3 times longer btw then IGN and I'll repeat WITHOUT PLAYING THE GAME. Doesn't make you that much better then IGN, just saying.

  4. Nothing beats a shooting game where you get one shity hand gun to use…the kicker is you can pick up other guns ( which are much better) and they have one whole magazine for you to use but after that you have to drop it….oh and you cant climb or get in the vechiles with the guns you pick up…

  5. I'm with Asmond on this. I think the Star Wars World is boring as Fuck. Light Sabers to me, to me are the only appealing thing about all of it. The rest just doesn't make me interested in the slightest.

  6. tbh I think they should just rate things on a scale of 1-5 with no .5 ratings. We've gotten to a point where it's almost an insult to give a rating of 6 or below, even though 5 should mean average.

  7. Hell yeah, look at all the outrage youve farmed this one. I am impressed. But yeah, this shit is the perfect 5/10 game I have ever seen. Might be fun for awhile at rhe very least.

  8. Nar Shaddaa, and the depths of Coruscant are interesting places; Absolute obnoxious amount of lore, and intrigue. You can have an entire 60-100 hour game navigating the underworld of those places. But instead of that? Disney wants to forget about those.

And this brings us to what we have now: Huge marketing pushing an agenda, shoddier writing than any star wars production has ever had, and copy pasted game play from games created 20 years ago. And the amusing thing? Those games from 20 years ago had less issues because ultimately gameplay was the focus.

And this brings me to the conclusion: This reviewer had a preset score to push, and bumbled about.

  9. Playing this game feels like its made for 10 year olds. Can't stand all the cheesy names for everything and lame missions. I want a star wars movie that feels like playing a dead space game.

  10. there is a mobile game of star wars that is a hero shooter, and the graphics of that game from what i remember look like a decent pc game graphics in comparison to this.

  11. Whats even funnier is that modern Star Wars main characters made by Disney or some corporation with their hand in Star Wars, cannot even fathom making a main character without a name thats longer than 3 letters. Poe, Rey, Fin, Kay, Cal, Nix, BD-1. Like Jesus Christ I know you guys lack creativity but at least NAME THE DAMN CHARACTERS SOMETHING. We had Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R-2D2, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gonn, Mace and more. Theres only one name in there with three letters and its one of, if not the only one with only a three letter name in the original Star Wars saga.

Like i get the names arent a big deal to most, but I had to look up all but one of the three letter names that i couldn't remember. It just adds to the bland non memorable character traits they already had. I felt really bad for John Boyega and Oscar Isaac necause they are incredible actors outside of those dogshit movies.

But im sure you get what i mean. A lack of creativity in characters leads to non memorable games. Take Starkiller for example, badass character with great voice acting, a cool name and a cool design. The levels of those games were terrible on a design persoective. Looked cool, but were bland and almost always flat. But why do we remember the game so fondly? STARKILLER. This includes his skillset, animations and interactions with the world around him.

Another example is Duke Nukem. Its literally a Doom like up until 3D and Forever, and both of those games SUCKED. Its because of Duke we remembered them. He was hilarious, narcissistic, slightly objectified women on a massive scale and was also kind of an idiot and had great one liners. He had a lot of personality which made playing the game worth it.

    Rant over lmfaoo.
