  2. This was a damn good live stream! Gary and Legal Mindset brought all of the receipts, and the Defense brought all the excuses.

On another note: Sam's humor and comedic timing was master class. Well done, Sam!

  3. The way to save entertainment and America is gonzo McCarthyism combined with aggressive hydraulic lubrication of the Juan de Fuca, Nootka, and San Andreas fault lines.

  4. You can use real world politics/events to provide an inspiration for your story telling especially if it's mainly to provide inspiration for good guys good and bad guys bad.

    That doesn't alienate people.

When you become an activist and it becomes this entire group of people who can't change who they are bad because they exist and I don't like them is where you limit creativity and lose swathes of your fan base.

Disney in general alienates potential customers by attacking them for things they can't change about themselves and it's been disastrous for Star Wars.

  5. Taking no accountability must at some point intersect with becoming the other, regardless of 'any opposition's' stance on the matter. At least if it's inherent deviation from baseline position of society.

  6. I hate the last Star Wars On Trail. The Defense had some good arguments that I am so glad I did not see it live because of load shedding (blackouts) in my town in South Africa. I hate that I am sked to be open minded now. But I still hate the sequels.

  8. This is why I love this trial. For a moment there I thought I was going mad but now legal mindset just saved me. Now ready to watch open debate. Maybe I still have something against Disney Star Wars but who can blame me???

  9. Loved every second of this, can't wait to see what the jury has to say.

Also, the "we have to make way for lesser directors like Rian Johnson" line was the hardest laugh that I never asked for.

  11. To add to Nerdrotics argument that it was intentional destruction for ideology, instead of bad writing, I submit that the best evidence is what happened after Carrie Fisher sadly passed away after they finished filming The Last Jedi. They had a year to do reshoots to change the ending, so that Leia was the one who died in the film and Luke survived, enabling Mark to be in the final film. This was the obvious choice. Trying to make a movie with a deceased actress as a pivotal character in it, without any scenes even shot was crazy and didn't work. Instead, they shoe horned her in with scenes they had from the first two films, scenes that were very disconnected in the final film. They made this choice because they couldn't have a male as Rey's true mentor and Jedi trainer. Luke is barely there to train Rey in the second film, does it grudgingly, and Rey is far beyond his instructions, like levitating rocks. When she has her true breakthrough in the cave, he is nowhere to be seen and has nothing to do with it. No, to them. Leia, a woman, was the only one who could be seen truly mentoring Rey in the final film. It's is obvious proof of their bias and how it affected their decisions and harmed the finished product.

  13. Ozark Matt's argument was one of the stupidest things I've ever heard, He said Hollywood has always been practicing activism for example Mad Max etc so that was a massive self own and I agree it's one of the primary arguments against Hollywood they have always been trying to normalise the unacceptable the unnecessary and the unwanted, they should have been stopped in the 1920s but unfortunately they were not and the problems snowballed out of control leading us to our current situation with companies like Disney, Hollywood generally and media as a whole, Every time for the last 100 years or so that you've heard the phrase the "First" women, man, black, white, gay, straight, kiss, relationship or something like that immediately degrades the film and as we have seen ultimately ends up being societally corrosive nobody should be getting their morals or their values from Media and no media company has the right to manipulate the opinions of their audience who often are children and as we know children's entertainment is one of the worst offenders, at least in principle you had to be 18+ to see a couple of gay men in Mad Max however Disney market itself as a family company targeting children specifically and the message they've chosen to promote is Anti-human, Genocidal and ultimately Evil by any standard you may apply

On a lighter note in regards to the trial throw the book at Disney guilty on all charges maximum sentences available.

  14. Guilty on all charges your honor, especially this one. The defense failed to refute the prosecution. “Star Wars has always been political” is a silly argument. The proper issue is “to what degree.” The OT and Prequels weren’t perfect, but both resonated with the culture to build Lucasfilm into a household name, a mega merchandise franchise, and WORLDWIDE sensation among all measured demographics. Why did so many different kinds of people connect with Star Wars? It did not sacrifice the characters, universe, and story for a political agenda. It was inspired by some politics, but those are not forced in the films on people, fans, who may not agree with George’s politics. Why were the Sequels rejected by so many folks who previously loved Star Wars (not just one demographic either)…Disney Star Wars sacrificed the characters, universe, and story to primarily drive home social messaging and political agendas—and a very shallow political message at that. Characters acted a certain way based on their identities, not their personality, history, or values. They are not moral individuals with agency to overcome evil, an unstoppable Empire controlling the galaxy, guided by the Force. They are simply victims of a corrupt system of men lashing out against people who have it better than they do. The universe has been broken worse than anything Lucas did. The story of the Skywalkers became “a cautionary tale” and KK acknowledged that in a recent interview. Disney Lucasfilm ALSO made a Palpatine the new hero! The Empire’s progeny took over the “hope” for the Galaxy Far, Far away. That is very picturesque of what Disney did to Lucasfilm and Star Wars. Disney did not respect George in its action, just in feigned lip service. Disney did not respect what came before it. They didn’t have a plan, they didn’t take time to learn what Star Wars was, what it meant to fans. Disney has failed to understand Star Wars even now. They made an archetypal morality tale of good versus evil into SJWs/Marxists/Socialists versus Trump’s America and admitted that about the purpose of Andor.
Activists cannot create. They just hijack something…a brand, a social movement, a film, a show, a business…and exploit it to force a message on people they think are deserving of it. They don’t want to work to build something. They want to riot and burn down what was made until they get what they want. They are children in tantrum. They resent the success of the thing they hijack and view it as a contributing factor to their own oppression and misfortune. Activists are bitter, envious, miserable people who wallow in self-pity and rage against everything except for what validates their pathetic existence. Misery loves company. They don’t take responsibility for their own actions, which is why they constantly lecture and blame their audience for its own problems. This is evident in the creation of anything Disney Star Wars or Lucasfilm, the writing, the filming, the casting, the editing, the merchandise, the marketing, the social media presence…it all is infected by activist mindset and “the woke mind virus” as it’s been called.

Disney Star Wars and Lucasfilm are a dead brand.
