Haven't watched the video yet but hi jesse
I just signed up for the patreon and did the watch along last night. It was a surprising breath of fresh air going back to look at Star Wars from this perspective. Even that holiday special was a trip to see.
I hope creators get a good deal with posting podcasts on YouTube. I personally listen on Spotify, because there I can close my phone and download. Maybe I should switch to YouTube premium.
For an episode that was suppose to be about the original "The New Hope", there is suprisingly little discussion about that movie. This episode is predominately just the group bashing the sequel trilogy.
And while it always fun to listen to the gang ranting about why modern starwars doesnt work, if the episode topic is about ep4, i expect the conversation topic to be ep4.

Honestly appreciated this because I'd already listened to this episode a while back but then dropped off, so this was a good reminder to catch up with the latest episodes!
It's so weird to me, when I think of Star Wars, I think 4-5-6, and to some degree 1-2-3.. 7-8-9 never even enters into my mind in that context, they are all that forgettable.
