  1. Based on how much you enjoyed this game, I HIGHLY recommend tracking down the Knights of the Old Republic comic book series put out by Dark Horse Comics back in the day; they're a prequel to this game set during the Mandalorian Wars and do a lot of calling forward to the characters and events of this game even while they tell a really interesting and complex narrative of their own. Zayne Carrick, Marn Heirogryph, and Jarael are all among my favorite Star Wars characters to this very day, and in my opinion they're highly underrated among the fandom.

  2. 42:00 ish – I mean that was kinda the point of Kotor's jedi even in the first game, filtering the jedi flaws through a more adult lens and discovering their flaws. We aren't supposed to like elitiat supernatural power hypocrites. Love the clip so far 🎉🎉🎉

  3. Your take on the distain Jedis have earned is pretty spot on – it's like Lucas was trying to knock Plato's Philosopher Kings down a peg.

I gave up on KOTOR hours into the game, about an hour after it forced me to abandon my role as a manipulative cunning smuggler and forced him into Jedidom. Thank you for putting this up so I can see how it plays out.

  4. Glad I'm not the only one who finds the handling of lightsaber building as a little weird in this one. Always didn't like that it was like "this is an elegant weapon, now go make it on your workbench, dude." Great video!
