  1. OK, Ok, Ok, Kim.. I've watched your reaction to Ep 4 and now Empire. You've got me entertained. Sub'd. I love your energy. I know these movies, books, comics, animated series, and games from thousands of years before this time period and many years after, quite intimately. You're in for a hell of a ride and I look forward to watching and joining you as you go on this journey.

  2. Now, with this movie/episode, we can talk about the names of the characters so you'll understand. We start with your beloved Han Solo since you said it yourself without realizing it. Han Solo = Handsome. Then the villain Darth Vader. Darth Vader=Dark father. For the third, Obi-Wan Kenobi we have two accepted variations. Obi-Wan=Oh Big One or Big One and Kenobi=Can All Be or Can All Being. R2D2 is of course Arthur The True. And finally Luke is Lucky. What do you think, Kim darling? Can you call R2 Arthur? I see you already call Han handsome. 😄

  4. What's the body temperature of a Tauntaun?
    Luke warm.

At first they made a Tauntaun toy for action figures, but not long after they made a change on the toy. They added a rubber belly with a slit so you could put and action figure inside. Yep, they marketed dead Tauntauns.

  5. Great reaction Kim…looking forward to your reaction to Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi 😉

Fun Movie Triva Fact – Dennis Lawson (the actor who played fighter pilot Wedge in all 3 of the original Star Wars trilogy – IV, V & VI) is the real life uncle of actor Ewan McGregor (who plays young Obi-Wan Kenobi in SW episodes I, II & III) 😁

  6. The prequels were also garbage. But they can be fun to watch. The problem with them is, unlike when Lucas made the original series, there was no one to tell him "no" and stop him from pursuing his bad ideas. But after watching them, search YouTube for "What if Star Wars Episode 1 was good?" It's an excellent series on how to rewrite the prequel trilogy to fit with the original series.

  7. Please, please, PLEASE, react to the sequels! Please? Not enough people react to them because of other people's comments. Which is horrible. How you going to convince a content creator to not make content? I don't get how that works. I hope you enjoy them whenever you do watch them <3

  8. Everyone is so upset with Lando at first but realistically he's in an impossible position. He's the administrator of a prosperous mining operation that operates outside the Empire. Imperial troops arrive on your doorstep headed by the most feared enforcer in the galaxy. He offers you a deal that your friend Han and the others can stay at your facility once he captures someone else you don't even know. Further the Empire will stay out of your future business dealings. Lando is responsible for hundreds of thousands of lives. Direct refusal puts all of those people's lives in jeopardy. Further he tries to warn Han off by taking pot shots at him coming in. As Vader keeps changing the terms of the deal he made Lando realizes he's being played so he then tells everyone to evacuate and frees Chewy and Leia. I never got the hate for Lando and thought he played a bad hand to the best of his ability.

  9. 0:13:50 That's Wedge Antilles, the only minor character to appear in all three films of the original trilogy. He did try to attack the death star in the first film, but he didn't die and he saves Luke at one point. He's in the second X-wing flying away from the explosion with Luke and Han.

The "I can hold it" guy is a different guy and he did die.

  10. Regarding the sequels and the prequels, watch what you what. IMHO, as someone who watched them in they were first released and usually on opening night, the sequels are much much better than the prequels. The original trilogy was very much aimed at the 12 year skiffy fan. The sequels really dropped that down to 8 years old. It clearly showed Lucas was more interested selling merchandise then making a good movie. Matter of fact, I suggest you skip episode 1 entirely and just watch Weird Al Yankovic's The Saga Begins. It will give you all you need to know.

  11. Amazing reaction and funny editing as always, I'm so glad you've been enjoying Star Wars so much! 😄
And I'm so happy to hear you'll be watching the Indiana Jones movies after these! I love those movies, I'm so excited!

  12. Please please please don't let the salty elitists stop you enjoying the sequels. You obviously enjoy the fun and adventure (and hot characters 😂) in these movies, and none of that changes in 7, 8 & 9, so make your own decision!

  13. The Emperor and Darth Vader and other followers of the 'dark side of the force' don't refer do themselves as 'Order of the Jedi'; they atribute themselves to the 'Order of the Sith". So, the Emperor and Vader are not Jedi, – they are Sith-Lords; according to that Sith-Lords adopt the name ''Darth'.

  14. 16:33 That's a love triangle for you, movies are full of em! 17:57 That's the same actor, James Earl Jones, doing Vader's voice. I think the sound recording got better vs New Hope. 36:38 The quicker Luke gets out of Yoda's sphere of influence the better. A trainer may criticize the student, but he also needs to build him up, like reminding him of how good he did using the force to destroy the Death Star and to focus on that experience instead of "that is why you fail" old man conclusions of doom. Obi Wan is getting that way too…Luke can only have success in he mission is there to help. As you will see later in Return of the Jedi that Luke learns quite a bit on his own with encouragement. 42:30 I understand that George Lucas patterned Chewy after his family dog. 45:00 I like that Han said "I know" what he didn't have time to say is "All the chicks do."

  15. Yes, stay away from the sequels. You're welcome. 🙂 By the way, you have very interesting analytical skills. You picked up on plot details not many other reviewers noticed and some I hadn't even considered to be honest.

  16. 3:41 Han joined the rebel alliance and was made official Captain as Luke was a commander,

By the way if you like this wait till you see Episode III the prequel it’s the greatest Star Wars movie in the series .. so great it’s “shocking” 😨

  17. 31:11 your right, Vader’s birth was built upon the manipulation/destruction of Anakin, .. however a small part of Anakin lived deep within Vader and was awoken at the revelation that he had a Son!! this gave hope to Anakin with Vader and caused conflict within, so yes during the fight with Luke, there are moments when Anakin is trying to absorb Vader’s rage in order to protect Luke!! as Vader wants to sever all ties connecting his life to the old life of Skywalker!!! that way Vader can remain in control.
