  1. There are 9, NINE mainline Star Wars movies. If someone tells you there are only 6, these are the kind of people who harrass actors out of social media. Do NOT listen to them.

I hope you watch and love them all.

  2. Yes, we all thought we would have flying cars by now. If you look into it you'll see people predicting flying cars, underwater cities, and moon colonies literally a hundred years ago ☹️

  4. My mother was 50 when she made me discover SW at barely 8 yo.
Oh and you can also be bullied at school for liking SW as well as I was. No pressure and enjoy the ride.
C3PO actor is British and he plays the protocol droid just as he would play a British butler. So fitting, precious and pedantic.
Some other actord are British, Peter Cushing as Tarkin and Alec Guinness as Obi Wan. Carrie Fisher tries to take her best British accent but she was American.
Lord and Darth are synonimus, Darth meaning Lord in Sith language.
Obi Wan as a Jedi (warrior monk, a mix of Templar and Samuraï in space) never owned R2-D2. he owns nothing apart from his clothes and his lightsaber.
Hand and Leia flirting is so natural because the two actors were having some action behind close doors…
R2 is an astromech droid, their goal is to repair and maintain ships in flight and can help the pilot in navigation as well.
Leia's home planet was destroyed you saw it be pulverized.
The Rebel base is on Yavin IV.
The SFX tou see here were reworked with CGI in the late 90s, twenty years after the movie came out but the original ones were already astonishing for the day.
R2 must be one of the favorite characters to many people.

  5. i love how you're recognizing Star Wars influence on other things, like Avatar, etc…
It makes me tense up just a little when I hear people say
"This star wars scene reminds of some NEWER movie/show/character/scene. My immediate reaction is….'No, the new movie got it FROM Star Wars, not the other way around. Star Wars came out nearly half a century ago.'"

  6. NO SPOILERS: Think of Star Wars as a "trilogy of trilogies", episodes 1-9, but they were made "out of order"…but please watch them in release order:
    Episodes 4-6 (1977, 1980, 1983) the original trilogy . . . everybody's favorite, the most beloved.
Episodes 1-3 (1999, 2002, 2005) the prequel trilogy . . . not well received at first, but have settled into, "oh well, guess I can't complain too much after what Disney did".
Episodes 7-9 (2015, 2017, 2019) the Disney trilogy . . . not well received either; time will tell if people will feel similarly as they did with 1-3.
There are a couple single movies Rogue One (2016), and Solo (2018). And there are a bunch of TV series.
It's a large universe, so enjoy it!

  8. Not a spoiler but an explanation. Kenobi refers to Darth Vader as "Darth" during the Saber duel. That's wrong as Darth is not his first name. It is his title as a master dark side force user.
