Ooooh YEEAAHHHH!!!:DD
All I need to do is get through 1 lecture, and submit 1 essay and then I can watch!! 😀
I think playing CIS takes little more skill and more mirco then the Republic. I think that's why I also like playing as the CIS
Ah, now I know my week is off to a good start, for a new episode has been released of my favourite series.
Pryl having the force sensitive trait (3:36) means she gives a stat bonus, that being a 10% speed increase and a 30% spotting range increase, although the latter is a bit useless in space considering how large view range is for big ships, but it does stack with her Tier IV command bonus (which gives a 5% increase to damage, damage reduction, health and shields) turning her into a pretty decent commander to have, although not as impressive as Palpatine is.
Now I'm curious what might happen if the formerly Eraidu planets rebel with their fleet still above (5:42); by default the fleet should automatically retreat to a world they own when that happens, but Eraidu doesn't own any planets so I'm unsure how that'll play out. Something to keep an eye on for sure, especially in the next few episodes.
Well, you technically can add a submod into a pre-existing game (7:21), you just need to be extra careful with what it adds or changes before hand; loading a save that was started with a submod enabled shouldn't cause too many issues, although ultimately it depends on what files you change. I've loaded up a save I made with a randomised roster submod without it being installed and it ran completely without issue, despite the fact I had several ships and units I shouldn't normally have access to.
You can also edit the files whilst the game is still up and it should happily continue as long as no errors prop up, in which case the game will just hard crash; I've modified the Venator to make it buildable for the New Republic and replaced it's NR fighter complement to my own choices, all whilst the game was still up and I had zero issues.
The only advice I would give, for both submods from the workshop and your own file edits, is to make a separate instance of the mod so you don't have to mess around with the workshop or mod codes every time you feel like playing something else, it'll save you a ton of time in the long term.
I want to say the "weird line" (17:00) is probably the borders/territory of regions in the Star Wars Galaxy, as it seems to roughly correlate with the borders of the known galaxy and its primary regions. No actual impact in game, but a good way to show progress and categorisation, I would say.
Well, I suppose it would be rather bias of me, but I'd absolutely be up for a Fall of the Republic playthrough (19:25) if most others are up for it, I'd rather not go against the crowd as it were, but I would absolutely continue these comments if you did pick it.
Oh this discussion about the Rakata (43:40), it's reminded me of the Supernatural Encounters book that Joseph Bongiorno worked on. Bongiorno is a former worker from West End Games, the company that made the RPG books, and he's been working on a very large book that aims to tie together all the 'ancestor/god' race references that he eventually self published, complete with references to other franchises. The reason I bring this up is because the book states that the Gungans ruled Lehon (aka the last planet you visit in KOTOR) before the Rakatan took it from them, which is completely wild even with all the heavily implied references scattered across it (including one I've seen that is a very obvious Stargate reference.)
I hate to point it out, but there's no use taxing Hypori (1:00:10), it doesn't make any money so tax agencies have no effect on it, better to fill it full of factories for upkeep or barracks to produce destroyer droids.
And another successful Stealth raid on Tynna (1:07:23), although that is probably due to the AI deciding not to build any important factories, rather than the exceptional strength of your own heroes. You've also managed to sell me on just how powerful infantry heroes have been with these recent raids, I wasn't that sold on them originally but some testing has proven me wrong and I couldn't be happier, although it was with the pretty decent Clone heroes in FoTR rather than the somewhat generic ones in TR.
And with the battle over G'rho we find both the episode and this comment (as well as my laptop's battery) coming to an end, as always it was a treat to my eyes and ears, I very much look forward to seeing what you have planned for the next few episodes.
Also thank you youtube for failing to correctly save this comment after I made a minor fix on an error, at least I copied it before refreshing.
honey, a new dark empire episode dropped!
For the Dark Empire!!!
42:15 yep my mistake, it has been a while since i last played so i remembered a bit wrong
Nice video, a bit of cleaning and building up, i love logistical episodes. Also good call about the planetary cannons, even if it doesn’t block unrest at least you can blow up a few capitals if you are lucky
