Ooh I'm going to enjoy this series, I can tell, but a few things I wanted to give my thoughts on;
First off, I'm glad the first group you rolled was a bunch of admin heroes, that'll be perfect for building up stuff quick (although only the highest discount applies, they won't stack)
I'm afraid to say that the story missions (at 10:07) can't be triggered in Custom GC; I mean maybe you can get Lorka, but you certainly can't do the Katana mission or the Regime aspects. You also can't integrate Imperial Factions (12:28), but as last episode showed you can roll Legitimacy groups so you do have some faction exclusive content.
In regards to influence (20:17) you absolutely can get both a double tax/labour camp, but I'd probably suggest building a local infrastructure building alongside it unless you plan to fill up space slots. Granted Coruscant does have a corporation so you should be alright with the additional influence.
Ship Cost (25:20) is directly below the era and date on the top left of your screen, which is right under the income aspect your mouse was hovering over. The net income from the base game doesn't take into account ship cost, the one below it does, but long story short you're making a good load of cash!
I think ISB Infiltrators (1:44, but you asked a question about them later on in the video and I couldn't find the timecode) are the equivalent of ScoutTroopers for one of the warlord factions, I want to say Pentastar, so you could use both for similar roles. Though ISB platoons do come with a squad of ISB Stormtroopers that have fanaticism, so that's pretty tasty.
I apologise if these comments come off as back-seated, I've been no living EaWX since the start of the year and I love diving into the mechanics and units that are on offer, which is why I enjoy the Custom GC as a sandbox. I'll probably hold back on these comments as the series goes on and you learn them yourself, but I will aim to watch the entire series whenever they get uploaded, as with any future AoTR episodes.
My dude!!
I can not believe how stunning that intro was!!
(The Video is AWESOME too)
I am seriously enjoy this series!:DD
Great vid. I've gone to the rural country and won't be doing logs for a few days. Consider Agent Enigma undercover.
Hello there. The factory buildings eliminates a bit of ship upkeep . So it will interesting create a few, and if you have a lot of the same buildings in a planet you can produce units faster. I recomend you too, build at least one tax agency per planet (in planets with at least 150 credits value), but you didnt need to build ifraestructure score buildings, unless you have 3 or less influence in a planet (it cost you 250 credits). You should check your planets, if i saw right you have 3 faction capitals (the building with imperial simbol and a gold ring) and you only need one, they are worth 5000 credits if you sold them.
Time for cruel AI?
can you build the sith troopers and the cool ships from the last movie in this? im a fan of the design of the sith eternal troops and ships, or do the dark empire get someting better?
