  1. 1:15:00 the dude has been surviving since the the clone wars, through the galactic civil war and still fights without reinforcements in the warlord era, that dude is either very difficult to kill or really good at hiding in backwater planets away from wars, which is a skill in itself

  2. Another steamrolling episode, really love those. Damn that Bellator over the hutts is really something unforseen! But i guess your plan of total takeover of enemy fleets may work, although i hope the game doesn’t just delete the enemy forces once you have conquered all enemy planets. Again the north-eastern side of the map proves to be a real clusterfuck of battles lol, it’s hilarious how they just take and lose planets like they are weekend sales. Speaking of weekend have a nice time working. Your videos will obviously be missed but at the same time as more time passes the more the excitement grows! For infiltration missions, i would say to play them a bit more strategically, last time you underestimated it a bit and fast forwarded like you had 10 ATAT behind you, with some planning I’m sure you can do it though, come on!!!

  3. Ah, what a perfect start to my weekend, a new episode of this much beloved series, time to get to work.

Wow, looks like disabling Cruel AI had quite the impact (4:00); both the Empire of the Hand and the Eraidu Authority are either struggling to make money or absolutely flat out broke, which says something considering the AI generally pays less upkeep than the player to avoid bankrupting itself. Guess using "Force Bankruptcy" a few episode ago had quite the impact.

Speaking of Bankruptcy, that must be why Eraidu isn't making any money (7:15), not only do they have an Bellator, but also 2 Praetors and 5 Torpedo spheres above Ylesia alone, let alone what they might be hiding elsewhere. Probably also explains why they don't feel like attacking Nal Hutta despite it being so close by, they haven't got the income to replace any losses.

I'm actually glad you mentioned the floating obelisks (13:30), it managed to trigger a memory of mine and I went digging as to the map used for Sanrafsix; the map creator based it off of Silithus from World of Warcraft (the internal name for it is AQ20 so the reference is intentional), with the floating pods you mentioned being based off the floating crystals in WoW. The video the creator made for the map always stuck with me, despite the fact I've only now recognised what planets use it, although that's probably because I sent it to a friend of mine who enjoys Warcraft.

And so begins the Naboo arc for this episode (18:11), but with the mention of Mines I want to bring up something interesting hidden in the code; there is actually a comment in one of the files, the one that deals with how mines and colony stations work, that lists out what type of mining is done on a particular planet as part of a master reference, split between Tibanna/Gas (Bespin), Spice (Kessel) and Minerals (Jabiim). The line doesn't do anything, it's just a comment after all, but some quick research by myself reveals that Naboo would probably be in the gas mining category as they mined a lot of plasma for use in blasters. Also nice to see the Naboo Local Garrison structure deploying N1 starfighters, even if they won't do much.

As for the comment on shipyards (19:57); you are indeed correct, destroying a shipyard wouldn't effect the defensive stations at all and would simply prevent production of ships. This does mean destroying the primary defensive station and retreating would result in the destruction of the shipyard, secondary defensive and economical, as they're all tied to the primary defensive.

And in contrast to the stat sheet from the start of the episode, we now have another view of it (43:20) and can now see that Eraidu isn't being bankrupt anymore, now they're making 1.3k per cycle! Maybe killing another big ship or two will have an even better effect.

Huh, D'kee is close to rebelling? I suspect it might be the AI keeping a fleet above there as part of some plan they're enacting, probably an Empire of the Hand one considering the region, and never invading it. The reason that it has unrest stacks is actually because you can trigger a revolt by holding a fleet over a planet; if it has less than four building slots filled (or lacks a Ground to Space weapon), then it has the chance to get a stack of unrest. It's not something super reliable, but it does exist and can be useful sometimes.

And with the conquest with of Rintoone, we have our first dead hero for the episode, that being Malau Jocaos (54:11) of Imperial Intelligence, a legitimacy hero from the Ord Radama group. He's actually an intelligence rather than an eco hero, so Eraidu aren't going to suffer that much, but it's still one less hero for them to use out in the galaxy.

Well now I'm double glad that I brought up the destroyed capitals count last episode (56:49), even if I was initially unsure if I had counted it correctly. Also I went back to the previous episode to check out a hunch I had but sadly I was wrong; I wanted to see if you could guess where the AI had their capital based on what their largest income world is, as each capital gives an additional 1k credits to the planet it's based on, but I guess the devs anticipated that and only display the worlds base income if it isn't under your control.

Poor poor Vin Kollis (1:06:45), sentenced to a backwater world because he happens to be a low tier group and a solo hero at that. That aside, being an AT-TE hero isn't that bad; it's got a decent variety of guns, can heal infantry around it and has a smaller tendency of wandering off like AT-ATs do, although it does have less health and damage potential than its bigger walker cousins. Just pair him with a good ground commander with Palpatine and you should be able to avoid most of his terrible traits.

Oof, is that Fiolla dead? (1:09:53) That is quite the loss for the CSA, not only is she the best Eco hero for the CSA, but I think she's the best Eco hero in the entire mod, with an 80% increase to the planets base income (the second largest that comes to mind would be Booster Terrik with 50% increase), why on earth did they park her on Mandalore? And to lose her to an Hapes attack, ouch, that's gonna be felt hard.

And down goes our second hero of the episode, the bounty hunter Dengar (1:19:59). Going to be very interesting to see which bounty hunter you get in the next episode, fingers crossed it is Boba but any of them would be quite decent to have supporting your forces.

And with that, both the episode and my comment come to the close, as the Emperor swings his forces towards the territory of the Hutt Cartels and the remaining elements of the Eraidu Authority that currently threatens the stability of the Galactic Empire.

  4. 7:10 Now I realize why you said the Authority still put up a fight. What in the name of the Emperor was the Authority thinking, to put all its fleets on the far reaches of the galaxy when you were just four planets from Eriadu?

  5. Having shipyards and space stations gives you infrastructure points and makes the population happy. If these points are high enough, you can get extra bonuses. Like the hapans will let you build a few different ships, the mandalorians give troops, tanks, and two different ship classes. Wayland is cloning. Worth investing. Have you spent all your trade stations on the highest earning systems? I have conquered pentastar, csa, greater maldrood, and the imperial remnant as the Zinj Dark Empire. Presently working the empire of the hand. Thanks for another entertaining video buds. Good times.
