Pretty annoying and frustrating when people still criticize and write off Battlefront 2 (2017) when it only had a rough launch and first year. I bought it a year after launch for like $15, saw no launch issues, and had a blast for a few years. Heck I still dabble.

Not the first time this has happened. We had the same thing with the original Prey 2, 12 years ago by Bethesda, when they killed it and Humanhead studios. I loved the trailer and the gameplay shown, it looked 80-90% done and was ahead of its time. It was doing back then, what the newer Hitman games are doing now.

I really loved the original battle front 2 for the like system battle thing were you multiple maps that you fight over for different buffs and things like that we would play couch co-op and it was so much fun and I would think there's a way to make this super cool with a lot of people but when they brought the series back it had none of that and the fun was replaced with spend money

Why is every one talking about battle front 3 cancellation? We knew it was almost finished and canceled like 12 years ago
So EA killed
Star Wars Battlefront, All Battlefields, Metal of Honor, Anthem, FIFA, Mass Effect.
All they have is Apex Legends which is a tired old niche of battlepass battle royal.
Which is fading faster then the paint on a smoker's trailer walls.
They need a mainline shooter that can rival the likes of CoD.
(I would dare say Halo too, but lets face it. Microsoft/343 killed their golden goose.)
So EA needs a main stream shooter. Like a 12-18 player TDM game.
Something that people have been asking for forever.
Something with advanced movement.
Something like, TitanFall 3 .
Imo the new battlefront 2 was a step back from battlefront 1. Number 1 felt way more immersive and less cartoony. The second 1 was pretty shit when there’s just a dude basically invincible as a hero just carving through your entire team. Battlefront should focus way more on the foot soldiers. Also nothing more jarring than playing in the age of the republic and having luke skywalker fight Kylo ren.
