  1. Cassie, I do hope you'll go back on your own time and watch some of the episodes you've skipped during your reactions. I get why (a lot of editing work for something that isn't a focus of the channel), but there really are a lot of amazing episodes that haven't been included (including several that build the foundations for the character of O'Brien).

  2. I was so happy to see your reaction to Tapestry! This episode comes to mind when I notice that my desire to ‘play it safe’ is starting to prevent me from acting on my values and becoming the person I hope to be. Thanks for sharing your reaction!😁

  3. Oh. Lessons is one of my all time favorites. I get so emotional when they play together in Picard's quarters and the Jeffries tube. I was absolutely devastated when the actress who plays Nella Daren passed away in 2014.

  4. Fun fact in this last episode Lessons and I don't know why But for some reason those are Patrick Stewart's hands playing the flute while they're in his Room practiceing the Room practiceing the second time. I don't know why that happened or what the decision process was for that or what was happening on set that day. But once you see IT's really hard to unsee that those are not his hands! 😂

  5. As the Captain, it's nearly impossible for him to have a romantic relationship with someone under his direct command on the ship, since any decision he makes has the potential to put that person in danger, and he can't always be second-guessing each and every decision, nor hesitating to make one when the need arises. It would hamper his effectiveness and potentially get others killed.

He had to end the relationship. If he did end up making a command decision that resulted in major injury or death for her, he'd never forgive himself and would be ruined as a leader. You'll see just how hard it is when that DOES happen soon enough if you continue with Deep Space Nine.

  6. The ending scene of Tapestry is such a great character moment btwn Riker & Picard. We didn't need to hear the entire story. Good to see that Picard felt close enough to Riker to tell some "sea stories." Great stuff.

  7. Not sure of this has been mentioned before, but his son in the Innerlight episode is his real life son Dan. One of Patrick's favourite episodes because he can always rewatch and see him and Dan.

  8. 24:00 "This is the most acousticlly perfect spot on the ship" – giant revervberation time, sounds completely indetectable.

And here is me, spending around 1200 USD to install sound absorbers and diffusors all over my living room, so that my piano sound even remotely nice. Strange. One of us is wrong here …….. and it cannot be the Captain or his Lady, could it?.

  9. Tapestry is the only Q episode that I actually like. I don't hate them, but Q is too arbitrary and powerful, the story always ends with him changing his mind for random reasons. No real drama.

  10. Cassie discovers the Pointless Trek Romance Of The Week. It comes from nowhere, goes nowhere, fills an hour of television, and neither the writers nor the audience think it's ever worth mentioning again…
