  1. Joe if you remember what Q said to Picard in season 2 last episode, "You ask me why it matters. It matters to me. You matter to me. Even gods have favorites, Jean-Luc, and you've always been one of mine." Even though Q stated it to Picard, but think about Q having his favorite and not just Jean-Luc Picard but also "Fate" of another Picard Bloodline, and that means Jake. If you think about it, it was Fate that Jake will be on board a Starship named Enterprise. Also, there is a William Riker quoted, "Fate. It protects fools, little children, and ships named Enterprise." This quote brings perspective about Jake being Fated to be on board a ship named the Enterprise and "Q" will test the new Legacy of Mankind by testing Picards Son, Jake. But I know Joe that, you think it does not make sense because the writing this and writing that. If you at least open your mind and get rid of being a Realist, you will have a different perspective on Star Trek. Remember Star Trek is about the Future and I am thinking you're trying to compare Star Trek to Star Wars even though you won't say it but some words of yours and your friends say so. Star Wars is based on Mythology, Ideology, and the past. Oh, you and your friends said about the one year to repair the space dock, hey its the future of futuristic technology that can build repair. I think you need to brush up on your history especially Ancient Astronaut Theory. Read a book called, "Chariots of the Gods?" and watch Ancient Aliens on history channel.

  2. The part that really pisses me off is the fact that we were Only given One great season out of three. The other two seasons were total abominations . We basically were Cheated Out of an entire series.

  3. Indeed. About the teleporter gun. They could have had a strong scene where the only option seemed to have to kill their own crewman who, due to no fault of their own, are now under control of the Borg. And they then get the idea and build this teleporter weapon which isn't that difficult probably with Star Trek tech, just imprint the person hit with a signal that the transporter is programmed to automatically lock on and bring back (would have been good to have introduced a good older Titan engineer previously, or to still have Shaw as a former engineer to do this).

  4. It was a silly ending TBH… pacing of the last couple of episodes were off and it impacted. There was a lot to get through in the last episode and lots didn’t make sense or was nonsense. Who were those borg etc? Loves the final poker scene but let’s face it that was the same scene from AGT. Not using the F as the new enterprise seems like a crazy dumb decision… especially as the Titan ship design is so foul. All the fans were clammering for F odyssey class so really scratching my head why you wouldn’t use that to kick start the new spin off? New crew doesn’t nearly have the vibe to carry a show…. I’d watch seven, rafi (at a push), Jack, Sydney. But the others are all vague unknown ‘ensigns’ they def have that bad discovery vibe. Glad Q is back as him dying was totally stupid. I’m 5/10 satisfied, glad we had rhe season but the writer just couldn’t stick the landing on this I’m afraid

  5. finally got the trek we actually wanted and it ends 😐 stuff like the "transporter phase rifle" I kinda give a pass on due to being the end and not having enough time to flesh that kinda stuff out, season 3 was too short and a lot of things I feel just had no time to be explained or rush explained in a few sentences instead, at least it was an original idea instead of making up some crap that has been tried in the past but now magically works, would you rather have super rafy kungfu all the Borg or come up with teleporting phasers lol

  6. Last night i watched all of the 10 episodes again! The more i watched it the less make the plot any sense! The writing is so dumb and could be avoided! The funny thing is it was very emotional and i really enjoyed it but it could be a perfekt Star Tek Finale! Too pitty!! Vadek could scape from the labor and free 7 other changlings! They killed more than 20 changlings only on the Titan! How many more changlings are needed to infiltrate 200 Ships and the whole Starfleet? How and from who got Vadek her ship? If the borg are so weak then why let Vadek treat herself like a dummy from the Borg queen and her 3 drones? But i guess TOO MUCH THINKING IS FUTILE!

  7. Gotta say I really didn't like the second half of this season. The moment the show became about the Borg it took a huge nosedive.

It's also kinda silly how they just forget or ignore everything that happened before.

  8. Renaming titan to new enterprise was a fuck awful choice! titan already had 5 years history and 30 something missions. Keep it around a build a new ship and name it enterprise for fuck's sake! the enterprise d was already a bloody frankenstein being it rebuilt using other ships, so apart from the saucer, that was NOT the enterprise d! And now this g crap… star trek can fuck off, as far as I am concerned!!!!!

  9. I respect Alex's 0/10.
If I wanted hollow platitudes I could get out my TNG action figures and make them hug.
Star Trek used to be known for its engaging and ambitious story telling.
This modern crap would fit into the CW's lineup.

  10. Whether or not I'll agree with you guys when I finally get around to watching Picard makes no difference. Your opinion is just as valid as everyone else's and you're entitled to it.
Your reviews are always entertaining and I find myself laughing along with you guys even if I like something that you hate when you're making fun of it.
Please don't change, guys. Stay who you are…!!

  11. I really enjoyed this season of Picard, Alex seems to be way to critical. Yes there’s some problems but this season was so much better than the last two seasons and even better than mandalorian season 3.

  12. Picard doesn't just make a little speech at the end, he quotes Shakespeare:

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
    Or lose our ventures.

  13. SPOILERS: They TG2: MAV'd it mixing both safe/diff elements. I actually liked Season 1&2 about the same as this Season 3 but the first 2 seasons were @ least completely different — S3 seemed so fan service & redundant except for those epic moments (I luv the "The Robot is right" line & Data4.0?'s expression is priceless — I was waiting to see how these 2 mechs would match up)

  15. 6:50 alex must not be aware that transporter phasers have appeared in star trek before. Those mercs that kidnapped Riker had one and the god awful movie had those flying drones that transported people by shooting them with a dart.

  16. I love hearing all kinds of differing opinions but GD the "this is what I would've done" gets exhausting with these guys. Love the sponsor skits and dunking on Madden but they're almost pre-wired at this point to try and hate things.
