Its been roughly a year since my last fleet video for star citizen.
Today we explore my updated fleet where i share my thoughts and opinions on why i have the ships i have and there potenital use cases for the future.
With star citizen constantly changing and new ships joining the verse it can be quite the puzzle to unravel what will be useful in the future. However i think what i have here in this new fleet is fairly robust at the moment.

  1. The fleet , the everchanging ever evolving entity, unique to Star Citizen. In this video we discuss some of the reasons of the ships chosen and what they bring to the table in future gameply. Built with versatiltiy and flexability in mind im hoping this could be very close to my final itteration before the 1.0 Launch. BUT what do you guys think? What does your fleet consist of? As always let me know down below!!

  2. Well kinda doubt it'll remain so, 1.0 is between 3/6 yrs away, CIG wont release 1.0 until after SQ42, as SQ42 has got to have enough to bring them back. No, is all it takes is a patch, or a new ship to throw a spanner in the works, and 7 of your ships are in Concept or Development. As i type, there has been a major Weapon/Component rebalance, with many choking on thier kebab. Nice fleet……Be Strong!

  3. LOL, Players spending thousands of US dollars on a game that isn't even released yet. CIG saw you coming and rubbed their hands together. No self control, and falling for marketing hype. Suckers.
Should have called this video "My fleet, and why I fell for the BS"

  4. I held on to the 25 dollar ccu to the polaris. and testing it out as a loaner. I honestly think polaris is great. love how I can open the hangar door and loot bounties. I hated the ramp at the beginning because how difficult it is for parking on planetside. but hovering and in space looting. it is really good.
I didnt know I would like the hanger that much. I think that the iron clad would be a game changer for bounty hunter's. it's going to swallow a small ship inside for the vulture to eat.

  5. Lols, I was torn between the Starlancer and the Paladin also!
And you have a very good point in getting the Starlancer as an economic buy (namely, as a jumping point to a Galaxy or Endeavor), but every time I came back to the Paladin her looks put a big smile on my face – and the reptilian part of my brain added to that by saying "oooh, I can have a lot of fun with that"
Sooo here I am, broke and cruising the 'verse in my Redeemer ๐Ÿ˜›

  6. I think it is hilarious that you think you will be skipping the grind.

The real game will be crafting. Getting your ships to tier 5, with tier 3 components, with the custom transferable warranties to match the custom loadouts will be the game. Starting with the LTI on your fleet is a great way to begin that journey.
But keep in mind that all MMO's are grind by definition. Another way to describe that is "activity while playing the game will be rewarded". The key is to only participate in gameplay loops that you enjoy, and use the proceeds from those to fund skipping the loops that feel like a grind to you.

That is the beauty of the system CIG is lifting whole cloth from SWG. Player driven is "you do what you love, and others do what they love, and trading between each other fills in the gaps".

  7. I really want to see an Atlas sized ground vehicle that can set up a single shop, so we can organize popup bazaars.
Think food truck but anything people want to sell.

You could use the Spartan as a base with a 16? scu container grid in the back and a side that opens up with shop access.

  8. Great fleet you made,
    always thinking bigger.

    AIE makes me sick,
    theoretical im living in 2037 and i dont want to regret my L I F E T I M E insurance.

The ROC-DS is gonna have a rework, maybe a remote mine-turret,
    I figure i'll get the F7A mk2 after SQ42 with LI,

F8c might get a upgrade possible to apply aswell just like the F7.
300 bucks for 10 months insurance wasn't a good deal for me except beeing OP till 1.0.
Wanted the Odd-Issi aswell but i think i don't want to dwel too long in uncharted space (this might change),
Arrastra a want maybe a need down the line.
coudn't melt The Carrack, upgraded my 600i to a intergalactic shoe-box Liberator.
And went for a 400i for zipping around 3 systems down.
Needed the Palladin, if i could give it a name it would be Bigboi.
Perseus would fit in a fleet composition but on it's own..
Got a Warden, SL Max and a C2 (M2 would be the better "spaceframe" with 2 size 3 shield module sockets),
but the c2 might be lighter, faster.

  9. We got the Terrapin paints, so we can do it for the Gladiator too! ๐Ÿบ It took me a long time to get over the Retailiator myself after I got rid of mine: the Gladiator is awesome and a great alternative.

  10. I ended up going with the Orion. I figure anyone would be willing to help me crew it. As far as logistics, Iโ€™d have to transfer all my cargo to a space station. Maybe theyโ€™ll go the hull C unloading style. Alternatively I could pair up with an org to haul my stuff for a cut of the profits. Or give the goods away for free and ask for donations. It might help me not die to pirates. Iโ€™ll have to see what the upkeep costs are though.
