A prisoner on the run is armed and dangerous. The Air Rescue team assist the police in the manhunt after the escaped inmate. Standoff begins between the suspect and the police. Later on the Air Rescue team are on call to another scene, rescuing a hiker injured on top of a mountain with a sheer drop.
‘Air Rescue’ is a factual observation of the high stakes work and real-life drama of the rescue crews of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service of Australia. The crew are willing to risk their lives to save people who get in life-threatening danger.
