  1. So happy you liked it! I love watching your reactions! Listening to this for the first time is nothing short of a life-affirming experience. I've seen Pink Floyd/Roger/Dave live 100 times since 1975. It simply doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for putting this together! Very enjoyable!

  2. We saw this film at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. It played at the Egyptian for three months in the summer of 1974. We went over a dozen times. It was a quadraphonic set-up with Mashall Stacks in the corners of the auditorium. It was LOUD. Every time we walked out of the theater, we immediately wanted to go back and see it again the next night. A few years later it was playing the Midnight Movie circuit in Southern California. Always sold out. Good times!

  3. Good music became a rarity today. You must imagine this was played in the radio in the 70's. We are in deep reaction today. Our culture degenerated in the realm of profanity in which only profit rules leading to one profanity after another. The defeat of the counter culture and the resorbtion of its corpse into the ruling class destroyed it. A giant chance for the next step in evolution was missed and now we are in liberal Totalitarism, just disgusting. Ppl die again in trenches in Europe for nothing. Ppl are turned into soulless NPC'S happy to support any atrocity even if it means cheering for actual Nazis in UKR. Pink Floyd was giant cultural project to process all the horrors of world war 2 and it's effect on the remaining in the 50's/60's watch an interview with Waters or Gilmore if you don't believe me. Pompeii was a synonyme for the destruction of humanity later they became more concrete with hinting to self destruction

Ps: don't let yourself be fooled by regime media over a million UKR's* died in the war and at least a quarter million RU's.**
    * over 1 Mio Simcards vanished inside UKR since feb22
** Prigozhin said Hundereds of Thousands of RU's died

  4. I first heard this song in 1984 on TV along with the film of a cameraman moving through the sea and it blew my mind that much i went and found the album 'meddle' and have been playing echoes to this day.

  5. Seeing your reaction was great! Live at Pompeii is a great experience. It is mind-expanding and very progressive without using any far out visual effects! The very superimposition of the band and the antique theatre does the thing!
