  1. β€œHeroes are made in the ordinary daily circumstances” … thank you father. Now I see more clearly – if we die DAILY then this courage, which is based on the love of God, will strengthen. If we are willing to die daily by God’s Grace , then we will be willing to die for love of God in the end. The saints reached heroic virtue by dying daily. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  2. It's a mistake to rely on oneself even in the beginning…
The Grace of God acts in us before, during and after our good deeds to pave the way for the next one – God should ALWAYS be in our thoughts.
The only 'disposition' we need is KNOWING that Grace acts in this way and that's a matter of FAITH – nothing more.
ALL of our natural 'virtues' are supposed to make way for the supernatural virtues infused by God who dwells within us and acts 'through' us if our will is united to His in the pursuit of Good – which, of course, implies that we embrace the Cross and give up everything which is a departure from the Good.
Our 'merit' is to participate in imparting the blessings He wishes to bestow upon His creatures by allowing ourselves to be His 'instruments'.
The fact that we are not merely creatures but THINKING creatures gives us our dignity and that's why God thinks of us as His friends if we accept to 'serve' Him and KNOWINGLY play our part in His divine Plan.
Much less 'piety' is needed: what is needed is a clear understanding of what is expected of us and how to do it – and that's where FAITH comes in: we will never make progress if we don't fully understand that Grace is efficacious, IN AND OF ITSELF.
And that bears repeating – actually, we ought to be shouting it from the rooftops – because it's a DREAM COME TRUE.
