  1. I get where he is coming from. Some injustices just really rub you the wrong way, ya know? And I guess some people don't even see it as a problem 🤷‍♀️ (which can be frustrating, too)

  2. i watched this live and i was foaming at the mouth 😤😤😤😤😤
so here's the thing. as a businessperson myself, the thing that pisses me off the most is when people want to be entrepreneurs and make money but refuse to understand how it works bc they're so damn arrogant! like yes, the market is unfair. yes, your work is often not gonna be reflected by the money you make. you can work on something realllyyy hard and make half a dollar, meanwhile someone can accidentally lift a finger and make millions. that's capitalism 101. and getting angry at your customers is not the way to go! if your product's not selling, it's not the customer's fault, it's YOUR fault for not understand what the customer wants.
and mr jackfilms over here is moralising his own incompetence at being a businessman and blaming customers aka viewers for liking sniperwolf's content more. like bro, if you're playing the money game, do better! make more profitable content! react content is what customers want, so do that! and if you want to play the "original content" game, then deal with the fact that you're not gonna get lots of views. you can't have the cake and eat it too. (unless your "original content" is more interesting than reactions, but we saw that in jack's case that's clearly not the case.)
like it's so arrogant of him to be like "wah wah my content is better than sniperwolf". then why do the views not show it, huh? he's bad at his job and blames his customers for it. like that's just disrespectful imo.

  3. now 2nd comment about reactions and copyright. idk if it's my neurodivergency but i have trouble understanding copyright.
like i understand patents on inventions bc that's unique. like you're an engineer, you came up with new technology or new design, it's yours to make money off of. that's understandable.
but when it comes to music or art like i don't really get it. bc like what if you have a song stuck in your head? am i infringing copyright by playing your music in my head? or as you said, tattoos. like a drawing is just a drawing at the end of the day. how can you own it? sure, you can become a professional artist and sell your art or music or get hired to do that for a company. but that's different, you know? you're adding another element to it. but the art itself is just art, no one can own it the way you can own an object.
and when it comes to videos it's even weirder in my opinion. bc most of the stuff sniperwolf reacts to isn't even like creative. like yes, if you put effort into a video and it took you a long time, sure, you're a creator. but an accidental video of someone falling or a silly 5 second tiktok? are their authors really "creators" who need credit like an artist would? like that's so silly. a lot of these tiktoks are one-hit-wonders anyway. like who'd want to watch the original and subscribe to the "orginal creator" like that's so weird. it's not an essay where you need to cite your sources, it's a damn reaction video, it's not that deep.
and the transformative element in sniperwolf's content is sniperwolf herself. she's just charismatic like that. who cares if all she says is "woah that's crazy", she's in the video, SHE is the transformative element. same with hasan, same with everyone. like brooo who careees
also brittany, are you ready for more copyright discourse? what about dj's huh? they play other people's music without transforming it! is that fair??? what about ai art? ai scrapes free art off google images and transforms it. is that fair, huh??? 😤😤😤😤😤😤😡😡😡😡😡😡 [twitter discourse incoming]

  4. I found you looking for more info about bpd. I was having a really really hard time existing in existance as you said so well. But I didnt come back for a WHILE until i had this crazy realization while hiking. And then I rewatch some videos and was actually able to really digest your content. 😅 like hear it and really get what you were saying. Started asking why and my outlook on life really changed.

  5. As a viewer, I do appreciate when creators link the content they’re reviewing so I can also look into more if I feel like I need more context, but I don’t think it’s required. But also from my “support small businesses/artists” values, I do think it feels better when credit is given. But needing to ask permission to react to public content feels excessive

  6. I'm not saying this is what you do, this is just some basics.
    React Do's:
Try to put links in the description
Add something to the original video other than your own outro and intro.
Try to ask for permission (or at least not cannibalize by reacting within a few days of the original post, replacing the original whilst adding nothing)
Feel free to pause the original to add your own content to it, like commentary or just your thoughts at the time.

    React Don'ts:
Cropping out everything related to finding the original creator.
Letting the entire video run whilst adding nearly no value. (like being on the toilet for a lot of it or a single laugh)
Pausing the original to read the description spoiling the punchline like you came up with it (cool if you actually didn't read it and predicted it, but not when it's blatantly fake).

Is it really that hard to not avoid ALL do's and don'ts?
You seem to get it with a song, but not with tiktoks? There are boundaries to fair use.
Youtube won't stop her because she's making them money and she's female.

I'm glad to see you clash ideas and opinions, wanting to see how others think.
The reality is that we the viewers don't have the choice to find original content as the algorithm pushes forward non-transformative content and the platform doesn't punish misuse of it's flaws.
He's upset that the corporation plays favorites and isn't applying the rules fairly.

You might not care that your videos get reacted to, but if you spent 3 months working on a documentary/analysis, wouldn't you be pissed if Hassan started playing it, cropping out the title and channel name, goes to the bathroom and skips to the next video the moment you start mentioning your name and asking for likes and subscribes at the end of it? adding nothing of value to your hard work, not letting viewers of his stream who think after a minute "wow this looks interesting, maybe she has done more of the same" be able to find you because he cropped out everything.
Whilst you may say "well then don't make that content" and "that's capitalism", it shrinks the motivation for creators who are willing to put in the hard work and makes the platform smaller and dumber.

Jack wasn't mad at sssniper, until she doxed, he merely used her as a example of how little youtube cared about fair use and he also used her to make his own actually transformative content.

I cannot watch more than 77 minutes, as the bafflement is giving me a headache, good luck in your streams and other endeavors.

  7. Brittany, I really liked what you said about some of your audience not always ready for your content at that point in their lives. I was an early subscriber and patreon sub years and years ago and fell into a season of my life where I still liked the content, but I didn't relate much to it or watch. I've come full circle and really connected with your message now and your streams and levels video really kick started my looking into the fundamentals of philosophy (both east and west). I don't comment much, but I catch every stream possible and am thinking about becoming a patreon sub again soon! <3 So happy to see you happy.

  8. You must be unaware of how SSSniperwolf will use the same clips multiple times in the same video to make the video longer (8 minutes + usually). This way, she can have a mid-ad roll.

Not only this, SSSniperwolf history is sticky. She's currently in litigation with her ex, who claims MANY things. The main claim being that he created SSSniperwolf and her previous gameplay that she posted was actually him & not her.

There is so much more. Do some research. It's out there.

  9. Thank you for your nuanced opinion. I always appreciate that you will question a mob no matter where they are from.

Doxxing is criminal, but outside of that Jacksfilms (even though he’s a creator I enjoy) does not have the moral high ground he thinks he does. And neither does sssniperwolf. They’re both just existing on YouTube and using the platform in the ways it can be used.

  10. As a viewer I can definitely say that I am more on the side of it hurting the creators. I watch people react because it curates the content to me and it makes me feel like I'm hanging out. I never, ever watch the original video because there's no point. It doesn't always turn me onto the content creators either because the person I'm watching will react to any of their other good videos. I'm telling you the audience feels this way. It's kind of ridiculous to see its because we're not interested in more of the content. We are interested in it that's why we're watching someone else react.

  11. thank you for checking out the jay exci vid. It's really nice to see someone elses thoughts on it. I think you might consider talking to the efap crew. they're nice people who just talk show and art. They're also really funny.

  12. you shouldnt play the video as its entirety tho, because why would the viewer go watch the original creator? unless youre monetization goes toward the original creator, this is the point of x amount of time watching the video without talkin, yes you are watching, edit it out if youre watching.
