This happened to me one round, another fellow crew member said I was sideways. I thought he started smoking the MJ we were growing without me. Then I randomly became horizontal and freaked out. Fun round
Maybe this is similar to how when you have your camera to another angle, you can put items 'sideways' Although it wouldn't make sense here because you have your camera to normal. Or maybe the whole station's on its side and everyone else is on the side meaning when you slipped, it corrected itself to the station's side. But it wouldn't still make sense cause everyone seems to see you normal Or or, maybe it really is client side cause sometimes when I turn into ghost, it flips the camera onto its side so maybe your character is actually trying to correct itself onto your ghost I don't fucking know this whole ss14 camera is pretty confusing
This happened to me while i was playing mime, i put a banana in a door and walled off the other one, a guy went through the banana, "slipped" but walked normal and didn't stop, his sprite was still sideways and only way it got fixed was when the clown threw his pda at him and he actually slipped.

Oh weird, I've had that happen before but I had no idea it was just client-side.
I've ran into this a bunch lately
When this happends to another or even me i only laugh haha
you can fix it by reconnecting.
Sitting in a chair fixes this
A rejoin fixes that for me, also in my case others saw me as normal.
