Hey Dan and Guest, talking about traps, would love for you to touch upon the topic of Non-Competitive clause, which prevents an employee to seek job with a competitor for a period of time (usually 12-18months) post termination. The clause are typically very vague and general vs specific i.e stating medical research vs a specific therapeutic area where one cannot work and job restriction in the entire United States vs a geographic regions. Also, upon further inquiry these non competitive clause are presented to mid tier level jobs such as CRCs. I know that non-competitive clauses are different and more restrictive than non solicitation clause and/or NDA's. I would love to know you and your guest's take on this specific clause, whether it is ethical and should job seeker accept such restrictive contracts?

    the job with no experience on your resume
