Wow wow wow! What a hell of an episode. We get to see some really interesting backstory from long ago. Then they show us what Yhwach’s Royal Guards can do. And boom! Squad Zero shows up and goes off, especially Ōetsu and his sick blade. I love all the crazy abilities that are on display. Shit is so damn crazy now! And it’s just the beginning. Cannot wait to see what is coming. Damn! I’m hype! 👏🏽🤘🏽
This episode was so good bc that flashback was anime only and explained alot that wasnt in the manga and then you have the scene with uryu gathering reishi and having blut in his eye preparing his shrift for yhwach to use. Then there's the altered way things are happening now bc yhwach didnt use auswahalen aftee the Schutzstaffel were beaten like he did in the manga. Im loving how kubo and the animation team are altering how things happened and adding things in to make this arc better than it was in the manga. Plus we might actually get to see rhe zero division fight now bc they are all present when oetsu fought and they weren't there immediately in the manga like that.
We are going to get a definitive version of the tybw arc from here on out it seems like. Im excited to see what kubo and the animation team are cooking for cour 3 bc even being a manga reader we are completely in the dark now bc things are being altered.
