So happy to be outside and sowing seeds and working in the greenhouse.I am also working to protect our new terracotta plants from frost damage and from drying out too much in summer.

  2. Good morning Terri and Lol. The greenhouse looks great! I love the new terra cotta pots. Unfortunately here in America they are getting them very cheap. They are actually making them with this black color substance in the middle of the terra cotta that unfortunately makes them break and fall apart easily because of this I've always searched for vintage terra cotta's.   3. Oiling those pots is a brilliant idea! I've never gotten real terracotta pots because they crack, etc. We can have frost here until the middle of April. Love the way your greenhouse has turned out. It looks like it's very enjoyable to work in.

  5. All my days I'd never heard of oiling the terracotta pots! This is fantastic. Thank you, Terri. By the way, thanks again for the recommendation of the beautiful book Corrag. Read it in a day and half of rest.

  6. Wonderful to see the newly improved greenhouse! I love the oiling pots idea, very good for me even though I am in an almost tropical climate. It will keep the water in for summer & we do freeze here on occasion.
