  1. Hi! I’ve been following your channel for a minute now and I’m so glad to have seen you guys bring up God in this video & getting back into church. I just wanted to share with you both that Jesus wants a relationship with us because He loves us, church isn’t necessarily a requirement however, it is great for community! Jesus calls us to have a relationship with Him rather than following a “religion” with rules, etc. meaning you can def have a relationship with Him without ever going to church. So anyways, love your channel! Thanks for sharing ❤ God bless you!

  3. I was homeschooled & let me tell you- they are not without social experiences, especially you guys!!! Look at yall… you travel, have family friends & are involved in so many things. Your child will be so nicely socialized if you choose to homeschool ❤

  4. Homeschooling: We live in Europe, moved when the kids were young. We live in a small city and not near any English schools. So I had gotten in touch with the US Embassy since their staff travel so much and asked for recommendations. We enrolled all 3 kids in the K-12 online program and then Keystone online high school. We travel for work a lot too and so it was brilliant. As parents we rarely had to help them with their homework and tests. All the lessons were online with video games for learning. There were no lectures or meeting with teachers unless you needed extra help. My kids did one subject at a time, each subject taking about 2 months (so 5 subjects = 10 months or Sept to June) so they were able to really focus on specific subjects. All of them graduated high school with honors, and went to University and graduated with honors. My youngest finished high school in 3 years cause he was just fast at learning and really ambitious. My kids are in their 20s now and doing great, and can learn on their own which is even better than having to rely on teachers/professors. With travel we also really engaged them in different cultures which they continue with today. Highly recommend, the only disadvantage is that there is no interaction with other kids unless you make the effort to get them into sports or other activities. My daughter's friends were all from the immediate neighborhood, the boys from sports clubs and of course online gaming. But it would be hard if the kids were introverts.

  5. One more thing. Love you guys! 58, love my husband, through the good and the touch times, and we have had some really tough times. Make the time to enjoy each other no matter what.

  6. Love you guys but having a kids isn’t as easy as you described it. The first year of their life is the easiest, your life will do a 180 in the next year especially leading up to age 2. It’s mentally and physically exhausting!

  8. You can definitely do both homeschool and join a co op too ! We homeschool but I also joined a co op that we go to once a week. It’s been great they have separate groups (classroom) for different age groups from baby’s to high schoolers. It’s been a blessing and they do field trips too.

  9. I’m a cyber school kindergarten teacher, and so many families who travel full time attend cyber school! It’s a great way to make friends online, keep a traditional sense of school, get curriculum exposure and not put all the work on parents. It also allows so much flexibility. It’s not for everyone but as someone who taught in the traditional setting, the non-traditional schooling has so many benefits for kids and families!

  11. Julia, your outlook on negative people (hurt people hurt other people) literally blew my mind. I never thought of it that way, but it makes so much sense. I wrote your words down so I can remember them when people are cruel. Thank you for this advice! It changes my entire outlook…it's not me, it's them. As my grandma would say, "Bless their heart."

  12. Just a teachers perspective…I would go into classrooms if you can to see what it’s like now a days because I think you’d be pleasantly surprised what goes on in classrooms. It’s not like how you described…much more engaging and hands on. Maybe look at Montessori schools too but I wouldn’t say no to a traditional school until you see what it’s like.
