Thought the showcase wasn’t good at all, hardly any first party games, most of the games shown had already been announced previously, no release date for spiderman, it was a decent showcase but not a good PLAYSTATION showcase
Pete is so going to be a boss fight in this game, you’ll have to fight him to get venom off him I’m predicting.

Mirage and Alan Wake in the same week! I hope Mirage is good. I'm definitely ready for a smaller and more focused AC. Kind of mad Alan Wake is digital only but I can understand their reasoning.
Phantom Blade and MSG3 remake are the games I’m most looking forward to from what I saw.
With Spider-Man I think that venom will by the end of the game go to Norman Osborn and then he will lose it and try to get that sense of power back and become green goblin in the 3rd game

Mostly a load of shite at this showcase. Couldn’t care less about any of the live service multiplayer bs. Only really Spider-Man, Alan wake 2, mgs, phantom blade that was worth looking at and that was about it
Just give me The Lucky Squire now please lol. Loads of cool looking stuff on here, I'm keen to see more of Marathon too. Ultros looks really cool. Can't wait for Snake Eater, but I don't know if I'll be able to fully embrace it cuz God I love the original.
I think kraven is going to acquire the venom symbiote towards the end and latch it on to himself to become vemonized kraven as a final boss

I think my biggest surprise was The Talos Principle 2 because I didn't even know it was being made in the first place. The first game is super underrated and this new one looks fantastic.

Remake and remaster are different things. MGS Delta is a ground up remake like RE2, 3, and 4. Not the same as MGS2 and 3 HD.
So is there no venom anymore ? I could care less about black symbiote Spider-Man ? Or did they lie
I hope they keep it as an alien. Could be oscorp found it on a meteorite, experiment on it and used it as Harry's cure. This could explain why it's crazy, maybe goes after Norman for revenge and he uses an experimental goblin serum, as a last ditch effort to defend himself.
It's weird, I came away from the showcase feeling very positive (especially ending on Spider-Man 2 like that), but when I say and let it marinate I just got way more excited than I was initially haha. Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Ghost Runner 2, Dragon's Dogma 2 (lots of 2s haha), and Phantom Blade 0 had me beyond hyped. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, they showed so much that I'm now looking forward to or at least intrigued by.
Also, anyone who hasn't played Ghost Runner should give it a try. It's pretty brutal, but when you pull off a good run it's SO satisfying and you feel like a total badass. I also love that even though you'll die a ton, they're quick deaths and there are a lot of checkpoints. You're not dying and losing half an hour of progress; dying is essentially how you piece together layouts, patterns, and strategy for traversing and/or clearing an area. It's got it's annoying control hitches and the final platforming sequence is frustratingly difficult, but overall I'd say I'd highly recommend it.
And I just called Fair Games 'Splatnite,' because it felt like Splatoon and Fortnite had a baby haha.
Wasnt really a big fan of the first game, and no 2 prob not for me, but happy for all those excited for i. Phantom blade is what im looking fwd to the most

And we've been waiting for this bullshit for 5 years? Why does the graphics look so terrible? worse than the first game! Why is it different from what we saw in 2021? The symbiont costume looks like a hideous CGI, Spider-Man looks like he's bathed in đź’©! Not a single new web flight animation! Water and fire looks like in a PS3 game! This game could easily go to PS4, the next generation is not here at all! They did this for 5 years and ended up making this garbage? What have they been doing for 5 years? Thanks Sony for the new generation, I'm very "excited"
Spider-Man 2, FFXVI, Phantom Blade 0, Dragon's Dogma 2, and too many things to remember, man. The only thing missing, for me, was some kind of Ratchet and Clank thing. Though I know Insomniac, my favorite studio, is obviously extremely busy getting Spidey 2 over the finish line, and man, does it look phenomenal, I want to hear what my favorite galactic duo is going to get up to next. It was a really strong show for me. Can't wait for these games!

I bet story wise that venom is introduced as harry osborn than after peter they introduce eddie brock and go for traditional venom
hear me out… the venom we saw in the initial reveal trailer is Peter! Explains venoms response to kraven in the trailer when he asks who will give em a challenge. We know kraven is in New York to hunt the various superpowered people located there, including Spider-Man; harry n eddie who are the two other only likely options for venom wouldn’t be in the crosshairs of kraven in the first place to even acknowledge the hunt, n the way the question is phrased it sounds as if it was def aimed at peter n miles. Plus Peter in the trailer is repeatedly saying things like “I’ll show u a good hunt”. I think the Peter boss fight that everyone is expecting to eventually happen will be the venom fight, Peter will have gave in to the symbiote n fully became venom n I believe he will begin to try n kill kraven n miles is gon have to beat it out him. Venom is too big a character for them to throw randomly at the end for a boss fight after peter finally is done using it which is what essentially would have to happen if Eddie or Harry were venom as most the game it’s going to have to stay w peter for gameplay reasons n we haven’t even seen Eddie before n Harry is supposed to be sick n it honestly wouldn’t make sense. Makes more sense if u essentially make the symbiote itself its own character as watch it slowly turn yall favorite hero into the villain yk as Venom! To add even another theory I think after miles gets the symbiote off of Peter, Kraven will get the symbiote n we end the game facing off with the symbiote infused perfect hunter!!
