Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought to hear the words beastmen are s-tier during the lifetime of total warhammer.
What timeline is this?
No slayers vs Beastmen was a choice; there was nothing to effectively deal with those minotaurs or the Jabberslythe once they compromised the cannon and quarrelers. This has also always been one of the worst Dwarf match ups as well (probably the worst).
As far as Beastmen being S-tier… Eh. minotaurs are, but idk if I'd call the roster as a whole S-tier. Good, yes, but compared to Tzeentch, Cathay, Kislev, or Dark Elves, it's hard to say it's S tier. It still has its worse match ups as well, like Lizardmen, Vampire Counts, and Warriors of Chaos.

Anvils of Doom used to give extra magic resistance but since Thorek they changed it to have the damage to caster effect. Runelords get a weaker version of this too if they are mounted.
"Spearwalling a Dwarf adds +10 to headshots" I decided.
That Jabberslythe was wild, for sure tough to hold onto.
