I believe the OL IMD DEEP, huge and nimble. Defense will be awesome and defensive backfield will be improved. I’m not sure about safety but they seem quick.
If Mel Tucker is serious about having top 10 recruiting classes MSU needs at least 12 4 stars and a 5 star or two in a class of 25 players. That will get you the number 10 spot maybe. And with the Big Ten about to get much much more difficult with 4 new programs at MSUs level or better (UCLA and MSU are on the same-ish level, Washington seems to be a slight cut above and Oregon and USC are definitely on a higher level) it's going to be tough sledding for every Big Ten program. If Tucker and MSU want to actually compete for conference titles, they're going to have to land 10+ 4 stars every season, year and year, hit on some 5 stars and then develop them and retain them. If you're going to play 2 or 3 of Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Oregon every year and then 2 of Washington, Wisconsin, Iowa, UCLA also, you're going to need 4 star DEPTH.
Hey you mentioned Jeff Pietrowski, did you ever talk about losing him and what a loss that was? He seemed like one of our better ends. Or was he pushed out by Tucker? I mean he landed in Wisconsin so it's not like he was horrible. Was Mike Tressel a reason?
I'm betting on Noah Kim to pretty easily outperform Thorne since Thorne might not peeform at all. I've heard Thorne is losing the competition at Auburn right now.
Nils, I cant agree with him, saying OSU and um are on a different level, OSU has better recruiting and I refuse to believe that the QB who threw to pics against TCU is that great. If TCU was that great on D OG wouldn't have beat them 62-7. um has gotten lucky and 2 years ago everyone and their mother wanted him fired. um recruiting sucks, did I mention that? they get like 4 more 4 stars than other schools and don't get many 5stars. And Nils is like one off those older people who thinks everything sucks now and that the world is doomed. There's like 100 different cars I'd rather have than what he was talking about and who would even want a car that gets 8 miles to the gallon, gas is $4 a gallon. I'm 32 and I dont think everything was better back in my day, I like Nils but C'MON MAN

Agree with Amie on OSU. I think they are prime to take a step back. OL is messy, no pass rush and their QB situation is mid

Defensive backs will be most improved
Comp, thanks for how hard you work to bring us all things Spartans.

Will the spartans finish above .500 ?
"There's one reason the Lions haven't won a Superbowl " "There are a couple reasons" LMFAO. The understatement of the year.
