  1. For the love of all that is good in this world, I BEG of you to **stop using 60fps**. It's NOT NEEDED for M:TG content, and it HURTS VIEWERSHIP. I am at a hotel right now that is delivering ~8Mbps down (~800 kilobytes per second – less than one megabyte per second). Trying to watch at 480p/30 works fine, but is so blurry the cards are indistinguishable. Trying to watch at 720p/60 or 1080p/60 (the only other options) is impossibly frustrating because the download here cannot keep up with how many wasted frames you are sending.

I'm gonna keep banging this drum with you, Seth, and Richard. 60FPS is a waste of disk space, bandwidth, and basically says "F U" to every person without good high speed internet. I'd much rather be able to see a high resolution video with fewer, unnecessary frames wasting bandwidth (honestly, how often does the overall scene change in MTGA/O that justifies needing 60 frames every second?!). It is less supported by hardware decoders, requires more electrical power/drains more battery than 30fps, etc. While I'd love to watch this video, I can barely even make out the iconic art at the 480p resolution it can successfully stream at. Please, help stop the pain!

  2. I'm confused at 44:00 why not run Circuit Mender and Ratchet Bomb? Because you wanted to be able to Karn them from the sideobard? Wouldn't the blocker/lifegain or ability to nuke 1 drops proactively have helped?

  3. When Pioneer Launched, I tried a golgari deck with Deathrite Shaman. Had some fun, not quite there either. We need more lands that can tap for colorless and colors. Hope we see the ally pain land soon in the format.

  4. I've dabbled with building Pioneer Eldrazi and I found that having the green manadorks is near essential to have strong enough starts to win close games – a T3 Thought-Knot is dank. The green desert is an all-star, here. You also get green interaction that's generally better than Wail/Contortion

  5. Creator of the deck here. Really cool video! Some thoughts on the state of the deck and some cards:
    – Matter Reshaper is a way worst 3 drop then it used to be in 2016. Now with Etching of Kumano in mono red and Kalithas in BR decks his dies trigger is way worse.
    – The Mana also seem way too clunky, i really think Mind Stone could be a great addition to the format and this deck but we have to play with hedron crawler.
    – Mvps of the deck are the 2 cmc drops (Spatial Contortion and Warping Wail) but hitting the land drops are really a pain. Not sure If playing 26 lands and cutting Ulamog and something could be better.
    – Me and my friends have brewed a mono red version that seemed way more solid playing Fable of the Kiki jiki. search for tchuco results!

  6. As someone who played a lot of a similar colorless eldrazi deck when it was in standard, i'd definitely suggest working in westvale abbey into the mana base. might seem weird but ormendahl wins games sometimes and the downside is absolutely negligible since you're all colorless already
