  12. I'd suggest the recovery would give them a good assessment of the tiles, then also flying the starship would give a good idea for how effectively they can reduce the Earth return landing and guess at Mars Landing!

  16. There’s a very good reason to let starship crash down at terminal velocity, crash testing for human occupants. Starship has to carry people. Letting it crash in the worst way possible is the best way to prove that actual humans would survive if their simulated humans survive.
