SpaceX's crazy plan to land a Starship on the Moon in 2025! Is this even possible? 2025 Preview!

Are they serious? SpaceX is ready for Flight 7. When can we expect the launch? 2025 will be a game changer as Starship paves the way for fully reusable rockets. What’s SpaceX’s timeline from here on? Multiple new reusable launchers, a fleet of landers heading to the moon. All in one year?

Correction: Hey folks! Editor here. I made a mistake when we enumerated the three crew launch vehicles currently in use as some may have noticed already. My bad entirely!

The capsule China is currently operating is Shenzhou, not Mengzhou.

  1. What do you think? Will we see a Starship land on the Moon in 2025? Let me know in the comments! Merry Christmas and a happy new year soon!!! Thank you for watching WAI in 2024! Here's to a crazy 2025!

  2. I so hope that you are right about 2025. I am old enough to have seen the moon landings live and I really hope to be able to see the first human Mars landing! So excited to see what the next few years are going to bring. Keep up the great informative videos! 😊❤️🚀

  3. Hey team. I was at Blue Origin 2 days ago at Kennedy Space Center. Bezos isnt playing around. Hes nearly complete with a massive mass production facility. At least 8 massive buidlings and numerous others. Space X better get on the ball.

  4. A starship wouldn't be confined to a planetary system, but would span beyond the solarsystem or planetary system to other planetary systems attached to a different sun/star gravity field. To call this a starship is just using glorificational language.

  5. Are we going to get a lander to the moon next year? A couple of things need to be answered. Where is the full scale mockup with services areas marked out? How much is that Space X booster (which hasn't put anything is orbit yet) actually lifting? And finally where & how is the refueling going to work & how are they going to deal with the massive lost fuel in space? I’m selling bridges now since some will buy anything. I have a nice one for sale in Brooklyn & one in San Francisco. Just as a point of information landing a booster solves none of the problems of actually getting a lander on the moon. SLS already sent the Orion around the moon. That is a goal toward landing there.

  6. not very rapid until they can reliably catch all starships and boosters. when you have ten certified, reflown starship stacks, reuse becomes pretty dang rapid for super heavy payloads

  7. There are a lot of posters here that are missing the Critical point of Mars vs Moon rovers and Mars vs Moon habitation. Can you guess? It is the fundamental question that we are searching for an answer for. Rovers on the Moon won't answer the question.

  8. Please don't burn the ISS in the atmosphere. It would be better off being turned into a space museum floating high in geostationary orbit. Future generations of space tourists could visit it and hopefully the space tourism generated from it could pay for its maintenance (or at least offset the costs).

  9. Not sure why this is so hard if we did it before (people have different views on this). The moon makes more sense than Mars, if you can’t get to the moon, you have no hope in getting to Mars. Would certainly be cool to see a live landing on the moon with modern cameras capturing it (cameras on the rocket that is).
