For a few years we’ve dreamt of this gigantic tower catching this colossal booster out of the air.   4. WE'RE AMAZED AT THIS BRAVE BUT RISKY BOOSTER "TEST EXERCIZE". LITERALLY "CATCHING IN-FLIGHT" A 200 FOOT TALL BY 30 DIAM CYLINDER [WITHIN + OR – A FEW FEET]. GOD SPEED AND BLESS YOU SPACE-X AND ELON. These are the Extreme Risks and Ventures That Made America Once Great….NO POLITICAL BS IN THE WAY — JUST GET IT DONE!!

  6. I've been asking this question since IFT2 on every channel that I watch that covers Space X:

    That's awesome but how is any of this supposed to work on the Moon or Mars with no landing legs, tower, launch table, water deluge, ground service equipment, or tower arms?

    I'm still waiting for an answer. I'm not trying to be facetious or smug. I'm genuinely asking.

  9. Finally, the DOD or NASA override the FAA. How many former FAA employees work at ULA, Lockheed and Boeing, and how many former ULA, Lockheed and Boeing employees work at the FAA? How much NASA money have ULA, Lockheed and Boeing spent lobbying against their competitor SpaceX?

  11. Such an amazing thing to see. Few thought that SpaceX would ever catch the first stage much less catch it so soon.Turned 76 this year and this is a high point in space. Only the first moon landing was more amazing.

Hi Marcus…watched the "Spaceflight Now" live feed that you were part of just a while ago….just wondering…when they are testing their ship to ship fuel transfers (when…not if…coz at some stage it will happen), what the impact of an explosion will be for future travels of ANY ships from ANYONE, to try to track all the debris ?

    Just another thing to consider as they are now entering more into reusing more & more hardware….is they have let to complete their testing of their internal post flight methodology and practices to "guarantee ?" or mitigate failures in looking over all aspects of the hardware each time before reuse and to also deal with complacency.,,coz sooner or later, that will raise its ugly head

  23. She said the important part out loud. They don't understand what a fan is and they want to be able to say who is and who isn't a fan. That's the part they don't understand. You cannot control who the fans are. Or tell someone that they should be a fan. They have the idea that they can control everything when in reality they obviously cannot.
