I have a serious question so I would appreciate a serious answer back. Why is it that with every rocket launch, the rocket makes an arch? Meaning it doesn't lift and goes straight up. What causes this and why does it happen.

What's almost as amazing as SpaceX preparing to launch 144 rockets in 2024 is the fact that they have enough customers and payloads to warrant so many launches. Even if a good number of them are Starlink launches, I wouldn't have thought there are so many orbital payloads waiting to be launched.

Apollo only needed 5 engines. Elons needs 33 tiny ones and if one goes out then the rocket is no longer able to carry a payload.
