I like the theory they originally recruited from a sea-faring culture like pacific islanders which awoke the shark genes in their DNA and gave them their Maorii-like culture. And now they recruit from child prisoners and orphans, much like how ancient sailors would pick up orphans and troubled children as deck hands.
I bought the Tyberos model from Forge World when I learned about his lore, I just had to, two lighting claws and chainsaws on his hands. He's a beast of a terminator, even Khorne bersekers think twice.
Some discord jokingly about him by calling him "Tyberos the Chapter Master of turn dommy mommy into submissive mommy". And i don't know why i laugh that. 😂
Damn that's some cold lore writing that's one of the dopest shorts I've watched about 40 k, these dudes were some of my most favorite but I think this set em up in stone for sure
Apparently, Tyberos can be quite stealthy despite literally wearing a dreadnought.
The only thing the enemy can hear when he is near is the faint tune of an orchestra, repeating the same few notes at a progressively faster pace as he approaches.
Tyberos is the guy Asterion Moloc has nightmares about. Lightning Chain-Power-Fist-Claws are maybe the most quintessentially 40k weapons in 40k. So ludicrous that it's unbearably cool.
Tyberous is so massive that they had to modify terminator armor in order for it to fit him. He even made a member of the Mechanicum oil themselves out of fear because they mistook him for a statue and then he stood up
In the book slient Hunter, a squad with a chaplin and librarian accompanying went in armorless with only their melee weapons float to a imperial ship undetected, just to capture a high ranking Drukari during their raiding. With the mission complete they left the ship with civilians ( mostly nobles and ship crew ) to their doom. During the capture they broke the captured Drukari mind within a mere week. No torture or interrogation just pure silent with the Void…just like that he scream and cries

Maybe they have War Hounds aka World Eaters DNA.

If the Ishimura was in 40K
Necromorph: (Sacred whimpering noises)
Tyberos: I’m a giant Space Shark angry and stout. Here is my Hunger here is my Slake…..

I think I prefer when Tyberos wasn’t w giant but was just as imposing
Street sharks are scary
Wow
Damn! Even sharks are turned up to 10,000 in the 40K universe!!!🤯🤯🤯
Sorry but seeing some hulking space marines come toward you in dead silence sounds ominous and frightening 🤣👀
I love animal themed chapters. Including the Tranatula’s, and SliverBacks homebrew chapters.
The sharks Mannerisms definitely speak Nightlords…

Don’t forget that the chapter master is Bella ugly abd hes so big that his armor is made of modified terminator armor
Another fun fact his terminator armour is fitted with dreadnaught pieces to fit him

Night lords gene seed is pure
Like if blood angels weren't cheesy enough for you, they came up with this.
They could be Terran born Night lords.

They seem to be a hair away from being chaos marines.
My theory is they are a geneseed mix of Raven Guard and World Eaters cuz they both quiet and savage like a shark.
These guys give off strong OC vibes
civilians? ah you mean extra points
Terminator /dreadnought armor terminator armor is to small for him.
Space Sharks? And here I thought land sharks were bad enough.
Space Wolves are still better.
If not mistake isnt his Suit mix of Terminator and Dreadnaught

Their phsykers have a special ability that summons a giant shark mouth that bites into their foes

Is this group even real? I feel like the angry marines aren't but idk
Seriously, space sharks. . . . . . .do they have a stratagem for sharknado?

Did a kid make this chapter? The actual lore sounds like a kids school project
Gawr Gura chapter
I have to say “The Red Wake” has gotta be one of the most chilling titles in 40k
The red wake, his armor is made with customized dreadnought armor because he's so big.
