  1. So much of the screen is taken up by the structure of the ship! It's kinda… annoying. It'd be nice if you could turn your head or something in the cockpit; maybe look around it or something, and maybe have the structures between the windows be thinner? Maybe it differs from ship to ship, to me watching this though, it's distracting.

  2. 13:45 You're trying to rebind a KEYBOARD command. Did you try clicking the MOUSE slot for that control instead? It might recognize your MOUSE side buttons if you click on the MOUSE control slot. Maybe. Assuming it's implemented right.

  3. Oh man, this one has been on my wishlist for a minute. I think I'll finally pick it up the next time I'm in the mood for a space game. So many games to play and so little time!

  4. That escort ship reminded me of one of the ships you could fly in Star Trek Valkyrie (I believe that's what it's called). Old PS1 game that was a surprisingly good dogfight game for its time.
This one's definitely up my alley, going on the wishlist, thanks.

  5. it was quite hard to tell if you were moving at all at the start of the video.
probably need something to make your speed more pronounced. maybe slight vibrations when the ship is moving or engine sound that get louder as you speed up.

  6. having issues with this game. everything is off centered. could not do anything since the mouse has to be about 2 inches in a diagonal to the upper right. its weird watching bullets fire there but the "crosshair" is to the left by a large margin. nothing I do in the options menu make sense. i guess my television cant handle what this game is asking for.

  7. It is star citizen inspired-ish, the developer was Star Citizen active player, the countermeasure hotkey is the same as SC, the UI is little bit similar (missile reticle, speed meter)
basically the dev distilled star citizen ship combat into rogue-lite format

  8. 3:26 "See if we can put some lovin', touchin', squeezin' on that ass." Does Splat have a premade list of hilarious one liners taped to his monitor? The fact that he thinks all these up as he's playing amazes me. Forget the games. He's been making me laugh for years.

  9. A great space salvage experience, is star citizen. Hear me out, I know, its a fairly malicious scheme, but if you grind combat with your starter ship you can save up to buy the salvage ships in game. no need to spend hundreds for it. The really fun salvage ship (the reclaimer) is like $300 last I checked. Its essentially power wash simulator, you scrape off the top layer of armor and such from the ship compressing it into crates. Once you have finished scraping, you can then fracture it into smaller bite size pieces, and disintegrate it into even more boxes of money. Very nice profit margins, you can collect a few friends on the way and have everyone performing a job. Its a blast if you have the dedication to grind through the early game and earn your first few million to buy the more interesting ships. I've got nearly every ship that is available in game and I'll I've spent is $45 for my starter package. The only limitation to what you can buy in game is generally the brand new ships are $ for the first 1 or 2 updates after wards, and then they are released to in game stores where you can buy it for credits
