SOS Bros React – JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Episode 22 – "Time for Heaven!"

Holy crap that was intense! Pucci was disguising himself using his Stand as Weather Report and used that to get close to the crew, overpowering and nearly killing ALL of them!!

  1. In the manga we get the Dio flashback in the middle of the battle with Jolyne. I love it because it's like a stereotypical shonen flashback on the power of friendship midway through a battle that allows them to win, but it's the villain XD

  2. "Look at me Jolyne. This is my spirit, this is my intellect…I was alive." 😭😭😭 they really got me, its 1 of the best scenes not just in jojos but in anything I watched/read. Jolynes reaction is pretty much how I felt, rip my favorite jobro 🙏

  3. Much as I enjoy the intensity of Dio and Pucci’s relationship, apparently Araki didn’t see it that way? He said in an interview that he saw it more like when you drink too much and crash at a buddy’s house.

(The Eureka magazine 2007 interview, if anyone wants to look. Translated in the Jojo wiki)

  4. Someone can see the spoiler in this so I hide this

I like that even though JoJo often flirts with the themes of "heaven" and "souls" – the phrase from part 4 "there is no such stand that can bring back to life someone who is already dead" is true to the very end. much respect to Araki for never doing such nonsense as resurrecting characters. haven't read part 8, but I don't think he broke that unwritten rule there.

  6. Gotta love how white snake is given to pucci who is a priest, white snake has GΔCT on it which is the chemical make up of dna, it’s named after the animal most commonly associated with Satan where as weather report is more on the angelic side with how it’s portrayed

  7. You guys were super close and great at theorizing about the green baby! The green baby is the physical manifestation of Dios will to attain heaven. Its a homunculi formed by the bone and the souls of 36 sinners. The green child is the bone "mutated" if you will. The bone Pucci pulled out was his own. The same type of bone Dio gave to Pucci. But most importantly the green baby is not Dio, just his will to attain heaven given form, which Pucci needs to fuse with to attain heaven. This will be explained more in the next episode (a small bit).

  8. I honestly liked Pucci, and somewhat rooted for him, being a man of God myself… But then when he killed my waifu, Foo Fighters… I immediately wanted to kill the Priest! I DENOUNCED HIM!

  9. I really like Pucci as a religious villain. Most religious villains are reduced to just their faith, attempting to force it upon others or exploit it for personal gain. Pucci feels like a genuine believer who finds a source of strength in his religion, rather than someone who's whole personality revolves around their faith. His religious beliefs do not comprise his entire motivation or character – they are just one dimension of an incredibly well-rounded individual.

  10. "This is my intellect" – One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. To me, it fully encapsulates the importance of our mortality, only I can do I can do, I must enjoy the way I've lived. Araki has a way with words that's just so…evocative I guess. It makes you feel for these characters so deeply. Like Narancia's cry for Abbachio in Part 5.

  11. I'm sure it's been commented already but Dio's bone was turned into the baby, the bone that Pucci offers the baby is his own bone that he removed from his hand using Whitesnake
