Sort Meghan Markle and Prince Harry saga, fix The Firm: King Charles’ in-tray | Palace Confidential. Sort Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, fix The Firm: King Charles III’s in-tray | Palace Confidential King Charles comes to the role with an unenviably packed in-tray – but it’s not matters of state that should concern him most, but matters closer to home. That’s the view of the Daily Mail’s columnist Sarah Vine who believes that resolving the conflict with his younger son should be top of His Majesty’s to do list. ‘He’s got to sort out the Harry and Meghan situation, because I don’ think the truce was a truce, I think it was for the cameras,’ she tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘I’m not hearing anything good about Harry… he’s acting up and it’s not really a very good situation,’ ‘That needs to be resolved because he’ll go back to America and he’ll publish this book and goodness knows what will be in it. The Queen used to be the buffer – so that’s a real problem.’

  1. There is a disconnect with American supporters of Harry and Meghan and the use of the military uniforms. In the US, it is disrespectful to NOT wear a uniform to a funeral for a fellow officer, of which, to Americans, the Queen was. All of the back and forth of whether to let him wear his uniform or wear the "QE" looks petty to their American supporters and makes King Charles and William, Prince of Wales look like bullies. Please note that I said "supporters." Those of us that actually learn about the proper protocols understand just how frustrating it is that he keeps making comments to rile up their supporters.

  2. Giving into blackmail does not resolve anything. The Montecito couple will never be happy, regardless of what the King gives them… it’s never good enough for them! They will always find a reason to complain and throw mud at the BRF. The King needs to cut them off completely, that’s the only solution

  3. Harry and his wife took a flamethrower to the royal family and country. No one feels sorry for the arsonist. What they did to the Queen and Prince Phillip in their golden hours was unforgivable.

  4. So Andrew and Diana, the think tank of the Royal Family, assisted by Fergie, another one of the great thinkers of her generation, plotted to remove the heir apparent from the line of succession. Can it get any better than that? 😅😂🤣

  5. I am not seeing how the RF has to sort out the PH saga. No one believes or respects anything MM or PH says or writes. The RF need to just distance themselves from that horrible duo. It is a weakness to keep them in the royal fold. Despite the Sussex Squad, they are not well-liked. The constant whining and complaining while living larger than life doesn't sit too well with Americans. It is not going to derail the monarchy; please stop saying that. The RF has tried to smooth things over, but nothing is good enough for them. Gayle King is not a journalist. You cannot ASSUME anything.

  6. Close to the end of her life, Diana made a tragic mistake in her relationship with Doti Fayed, which led to her death. Harry has made a similar tragic mistake in his relationship with Megan which has only led to disgrace and alienation. His future and that of his children are sadly unpredictable. His drama has yet to play out.

  7. The "Royal" hypocrisy is mindboggling! Prince Charles, the future King of England, from day one cheated on his wife with his married mistress. Then pressured the Church to make an exception to the rules that prevent a divorcee from becoming King because Charles has made it crystal clear that he's not giving up his "side chick" nor his right to become King. The monarchy had no choice but to relent because they knew long before the public that Andrew wasn't fit to become King. Now the "revisionist history" writers will spin Charles & Camilla's story as the "greatest love story ever told". Speaking of Andrew, although, his perversions disgraced the Queen and the monarchy, all is forgiven because he's still LOYAL. The real tragedy in all of this is that William and Harry are "currently" estranged. I say to Harry and Megan, forget about the titles (Harry and his children are still Heirs), live your lives, raise happy well-adjusted children who will become college educated, have real jobs, and make meaningful contributions to society. The best revenge is a life well lived!

  8. Will you stop making excuses for those middle aged brats! The rest of the world has housing problems, food insecurity, ill health.
You insult every one of us when you keep pushing the idea that these two deserve anything but contempt. We all have consequence for our actions. The minute they started flinging proven lies, they lost any respect.
They are arrogant, and believe they do not have responsibilities, but should be given everything. No one will regret them being gone. They did it to themselves!!!! Do you not expect people to grow up?

  9. There was invited to visit the Queen 👸 and refused so Harry feels guilty of not seeing his grandmother…
As for humiliating Harry he did that himself Harry left the UK for a normal life,"and not a working royals..

  10. There is no way the two from Montecito want to to work things out with the monarchy. If that happened they would not be in the public eye where they are determined to remain. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile. They have never had anything good to say about the RF and will certainly not do so now. Oprah and Gayle King should be ashamed of themselves for participating in this charade. I have lost all respect for both of them.

  11. I would love Richard Eden to be my neighbour- such a debonair wonderful man. The despicable duo deserve the demotion – why should very bad and callous behaviour be rewarded? Should all their lies ,exaggerations, cruel behaviour directed to Prince Philip and esp.to the Queen,King Charles, the real RF, the people of the UK/Commonwealth just be forgotten?
