  1. you're misleading saying the iphone 14pro is considerably cheaper, because the xperia 1 V is 256gb, also its as tall as the iphone 14 pro max, but narrower, so you should compare it to a iphone 14 pro max 256 gb,

    Xperia 1V 256gb: 1399 euro
    iPhone 14pro 256gb: 1459 euro
    iPhone 14 pro Max 256gb: 1609 euro

so technically the Sony is considerably cheaper than the iPhone 14 pro Max

  2. SONY XPERIA phone looks dated, and should have more features, and instead of having 4k, it should have 2k, to save cost, and because Sony has bezels, the should either have face id or eye scanner, to dual front camera.
It's lacks more years of support of Software or security updates.
Sony Xperia should be 6.7 inches to challenge Samsung Ultra or iPhone Pro Max.

  3. If the iPhone 14 Pro is close to the 13 Pro, which I really think it is, then the Xperia 1 V is far superior in my opinion

I've had the 13 Pro for more than a year and a half, and it's basically boring
I went for the Sony after really hesitating and it feels like I'm back home.
Real camera settings, front facing speakers that sound great, intuitive and useful UI, it's got it all
Not to mention that the iPhone battery has taken kind of a big hit in capacity in only 18 months

  4. People buy Sony for the camera and manual RAW photo taking. You obviously don't understand how photography works, and down played the Sony in an obvious biased way. Thumbs down for this video….

  5. I dont understand why people keep criticising sony for it price?
    1.They gave headphone jack – Samsung & Apple don't
2.They gave you SD Card slot – Samsung & Apple don't
3.256GB Internal storage – Samsung & Apple they do but the price will go up by £100(depends on your region)
    4.4K Display(customer Choice)
5.2 front stero speaker- Samsung & Apple don't
    6. 5000MAH battery
So the price is justified by what Sony Gives.
The thing I like about sony the most is that they dont follow Apple like Samsung does
Remember when samsung took a piss out apple for removing headphone jack a year or 2 samsung removed headphone jack

  6. I've had the Sony Xperia Mk1 V from release (loving the £350 XM5 headphones that came with it) its a 'creative types' phone with a great look and feel to it .. personally I've not found the cameras lacking at all and the night shots have been brilliant also video capture is stunning.

  7. there are considerations in the video that make me smile. For example: the phones are both ip68 certified but more extensive tests have been done on the iphone… But what the hell does that mean!? The certification proves that they have both been certified and tested so why go with such a biased consideration?
