the cpu is always shit, every tv manufacturer puts the worst processor in their tvs, it sucks
So they have gone for the Intel like numbering scheme like Core 9, Core 7 etc.
Only two 2.1 hdmi ports and no HDR10 +. Lame.

Meh. If the Bravia 7 doesn't have the better local dimming control of the 9, then I don't see how it could out perform the A80L for a similar price. The Bravia 8 is probably the true A80L secessor, but the price is kinda out of sight now.
impressive but costly.
I wanted Sony to release a 55inch LED with anti reflection but apparently this will only come with the 75inch in the UK. I do not want an OLED for this bright room. Sony being from Japan should understand people in the UK would still want a top of the range 55inch LED TVs for there small houses. At present anti reflecton only comes with the x95l starting at 65inches but its still too big. Samsung and LG do have the TVs with the spec I wanted but its gonna be hard to change from Sony.
More zones and better control is awesome, but why do they still have 4x LED blocks instead of single LED blocks? What prevents Sony from controlling individual LEDs for better backlight resolution? And another big question is whether LCD panel uniformity itself will improve. One of the main features of good quality QD-OLED panels is extremely low DSE and good color and brightness uniformity. Who cares how bright the highlights are if a simple panning shot across a bright wall or sky reveals non-uniformity of the panel? It's far more distracting and ugly than blooming in most scenes.
Just got a 77 C3. No new tv for me for at least 3 years. OLEDs should be positively mind blowing by then. Amazing miniled tech on display here though.
