Sonic Riders DX is a mod of the original Sonic Riders which seeks to add new content and breathe new life into an already great game. This a beta of version 2 and this video covers some of its changes. Those include:

03:29 Silver and Psychic Wave (New Character)
06:27 Chaos and Mystic Ruin (New Character)
09:39 Eggman and Egg Moped (New Extreme Gear)
12:59 Hyper Sonic (New Transformation)
16:07 Super Sonic (Included for comparison purposes)
19:47 Super Shadow (New Transformation)
23:10 Super Tails (New Transformation)
26:29 Super Knuckles (New Transformation)
29:57 Super Amy (New Transformation)

Another addition is that every character can use every gear. This was tested with:

33:13 Sonic and Type-S (Storm’s Gear)
37:04 Cream and Banana (Aiai’s Gear)
40:23 Jet and Blue Star (Sonic’s Gear)

Since every character can use every gear, these very talented and very dedicated people went through the trouble of making bike versions of gears for Eggman and board versions of gears for those that can’t use bikes. That was tested with:

46:43 Ulala and Super Hang-on
50:11 Whackbot and Darkness

One more thing. Drifts now have different levels, with a level two resulting in an orange trail and a level three resulting in a pink trail.

  5. It would've been funny if you showcased Sonic on Type-S on Night Chase. Also what are the songs used during Sonic, Cream, and Jet's showcase on different characters' boards. As well as Eggman on Light Board. What's the remix of Big Arm.

    I really love Sonic Riders and this mod is great. It looks nice with everything moving faster, nice addition of different boost levels, and the new characters.
