Personally think this being its separate island was unnecessary but they made up for it with lore atleast

I stayed up all night for 24 hours straight completing the game. Being from the Adventure era, the ending made me cry. I got so emotional.
Wait so like….the game implies that the Chaos Emeralds were created by the Ancients (or at least native to their world), but the Master Emerald was on Earth and they didn't know it even existed. So are the emeralds from Earth? The Ancients' world? Or neither?
The Master Emerald is like a remote control and magnet for the other emeralds, so there's no way they're completely unrelated.
25:40 I think there’s a chance that, whatever small group of the Ancients that took the chaos emeralds to the master emerald included whoever Chaos was, and the rest mutated into the chao. Terrible idea but I think it’s not far fetched.
