I love the Crosstitch. What a wonderful, loving gift. I do love Marcia Durst fabrics. I think she probably uses stencils, and all kinds of other mark making items in her work.

The framers will tell you what they want you to do to prepare them. I have used various framers and they all had varied requirements. Check your local friends for local recommendations but it is very expensive now is what I am hearing from friends that have done framing here in NJ in the last few months.
The cross stitch was a beautiful gift!!! and I grab a drink to, I love to collect mugs so I show those off ,)

I bought that auriful set from MSQC it was somewhere around $23.00 I believe and they are lovely colors! I love the cross-stitch gifts what a treasure! I am slowly being enabled as I see different fabrics you shoe on here lol. It's ok though. It makes me happy!
