►About the Game –
File Destined is a psychological thriller game developed with Unreal Engine 5. While you are getting a chill down your spine with the impressive story and realistic locations, you will also witness the mystery behind Oliver’s story.

Can this last case of Oliver, all be just a small part of a bigger picture? Gather clues, unravel the mystery behind the case and uncover the truth.

In the end, the truth may be quite disturbing and different than what you expected.

As you are trying to find clues and figure out who is responsible of one of the most close watched murder cases of the country, you will encounter unexpected dangers when least expected.

Take your time investigating the crime scene as each thing you find might lead you to the truth you are seeking for.

During your mission, be very careful not to spend too much time in in darkness, because in darkness may reside evil spirits out of this world.

You will have to look through and closely examine the objects in the map to see if they carry any crucial information about the case.

In the meanwhile, you will try to survive in a hostile dark environment with only a lighter in your hands as a light source. The lighter has a real life mechanics, so be careful using it, or else you will be left in dark.

Map based puzzles will give you access to the other parts of the map. You will need to solve them carefully in order to be able achieve your task.

  1. I loved this game! Although if we’re being honest he definitely don’t deserve to be punished.
He was trying to get sober presumably for his daughter & to get his life together. the company knew one of the side effects was hallucinations. If anything he could’ve argued temporary insanity and I would agree with him

  2. Hey Chris love your videos . Would you ever consider doing a top 20 scariest games video , or something along those lines . I would love to know what are the scariest or best you’ve played (in your opinion)

  3. Literally your commentary makes any game fun to watch. Love the fact you never rush the games, you do your best to look at everything, and constantly have something new and witty to say. You're easily the best horror content creator. You're not afraid to joke at game and are always honest with your reviews. I hope in 2023 that your channel continues to go upward, it's all deserved.

  4. That was fucking great! I loved it! The refueling was dumb, the lighter going out when you turn too fast and scripted was more than enough and a good thing in my opinion. The scares were beautifully done, the atmosphere really dragged you in. Besides the refueling thing, this was incredible and I can't wait to see more games by these guys.

  5. "In the end, the truth may be quite disturbing and different than what you expected." Yeah, but it was obvious from a mile away, and their claim that the lighter has real life mechanics is a HUGE stretch. HOWEVER, the game was good, the scares were well done. I wish indie horror devs would give up this whole lighting wearing out in 0.05 seconds as a game mechanic, and that psychological horror is now just "bad dad simulator," but those are minor gripes.

  6. Tons of interactions and the vast majority irrelevant. More games should do this to actually make you pay attention to what you need to be looking for or what may be important. Great visuals and good voice acting. Could have done with more information and background about the actual setting and crime though as you mentioned. You would think Oliver would have been fully briefed. I like this overall though.

  7. the atmosphere was good and the premise was cool, but something about it didnt make sense… if theyd recorded all these things about the crime scene to load into the VR, then why not just catalogue it..? the skyrim lockpick game…. ehhhhh?
i really wanted to love this, but it was only ok

  8. It's a very good thing that I stuck through this gameplay 'til the end.

At first, I wasn't impressed with how the first half was going. All the thoughts that went in my head were, "If this is VR, then can't they even provide a good working flashlight to begin with, instead of this lighter that he kept refilling? Why does this man kept making assumptions that the items he picks up were straight up insignificant, when he's doing an investigation here? What's with all the evidence scattered in various locations and what even is all this supernatural bs? Is this game just giving the VR excuse, in order to plunge the character into a horrifying situation? Because all these rooms and evidence he's picking up makes for a messy storyline." And the list goes on and on. But by the halfway mark, I've also arrived at the same guess that it was all on the main character himself and held off on the annoyance that's nagging my brain. By the time it reached the end, I ended up liking it. True, it's still the usual "It's psycho-horror and therefore, it's possible the main character is the guilty subject", but they've at least put a lil good twist to it to make it less stale.
